  • It depends on the job whether men or women are better at it.

If the job is something that requires some form of skill or intelligence then obviously it's a man job. But when it requires tits and and a body that gives avarage men a boner, then we have a situation where a woman will be better.

  • the magazine is called " Estro "

    lol

  • Why is it 33%? o.o

  • @HaylinMusa lets say 75 is 100%.....75/3 =25....25 equals a third....so its a third or 33% more than 75

  • It costs 400 thousand dollars to hire this engineer, for 12 seconds

  • crap my future girl will take 75 percent of my money while i am staying with 25 percent

  • @D100J Caution!! Dont marry !! Its a trap. Does sex require marriage? Does a family require marriage? Taking half of someones wage however does require marriage.

  • @omnissient my family tought of that

  • @omnissient You remind me of that Dilbert cartoon where Dogbert ignores his phone and inbox and only takes assignments when threatened with bodily harm. Also, this one girl I met once who has autism and only says hi back to me if she feels like it.

  • @OneWeirdDude I am so honored that i remind you of Dogbert. he is my favorite Dilbert character. Why should i say hi when i already said hi days ago?

Didnt Dilbert and Alice have a ban on useless greeting in one episode?

I actually have a slight form of Autism (Aspergers aka "the knack"). You "normal" people are the ones who are strange. Jk ;-)

"We are blessed to live in the time of Dogbert" (Ratbert)

  • @omnissient In my defense, I was diagnosed with Aspergers, too. :-) (True story.)

  • The joke is that the women activist is an idiot, and Wally doesn't know when to shut up.

  • @agolosha THANK you!!

  • I wish people would comment about what make the video funny... -.-

  • Look at the back of Estro. Carol's on it.

  • His last line just made him look lame, he should shut up after pwning her

  • I wish women were paid less, then I could start a business and only hire women for 25% less cost, why would I pay a 25% for a man?

  • I thought this was funny. This argument fails because there are more men working then women. The poll isn't actually that the avg man earns earns more than a woman.

  • Two things to add. 1. Men don't have maternity leave, and 2. This avg doesn't take into effect that most of these pay differences are infact different jobs.

  • That's true. I've even heard that women sales engineers make quite a bit more than men sales engineers, which no one seems to like to admit.

  • @anygrl That seems to go perfectly with my standing theory; women tend to give more, and men tend to take more. Thence, men are better at negotiating for more pay, whereas women are better at convincing potential clients to buy a product/service.

  • @dragonboyjgh A virus scan software runs pay surveys?

  • @CommanderCooper by avg he means average

  • @dragonboyjgh Also, typically (and traditionally) men are in the work force sooner/longer than women.

  • @dragonboyjgh

    However, men get paternity leave.

  • @d3p43ss3d What on earth is paternity leave for? The baby's mother is more important than its father.

Oh wait, you were joking, huh. Never mind.

  • @OneWeirdDude

Actually not, the importance of having a parent of each gender (for different reasons per gender and age of child etc) is pretty much equal, the child will always be lacking a certain something if only raised by one parent, having a mother and father is important for perspective purposes anyway.

  • @d3p43ss3d I think it depends how you look at it. Grain foods are the most important part of one's diet (fruits and vegetables come second), but they're not the only part. Even if the mom really is more important than the dad (which could be subjective), she can't replace the dad.

  • @dragonboyjgh Men can take maternity leave in Canada

  • @dragonboyjgh Actually, it takes into account men/women doing the exact same job. Also, maternity leave is just an excuse for bosses to favor men over women in application.

I'm a guy too. Don't delude yourself to think there's equality in this matter...

  • @Gilthans

I disagree the pay difference is down to genuine differences in priorities between men and women. There is no logical reason men would be favoured and market economics means there is plenty of reasons not to.

  • @Gilthans Of course if you're doing performance driven pay rises then if somebody is gone for 9 months there is in fact little performance to justify a good pay rise. There is little or even no pay differences between men and women of identical circumstances.

No it does not take into account men/women doing the exact same job, it is a more generic average salary thing for full time workers. Of course there have been many studies and Dilbert doesn't cite which it uses but it does infer (cont)

  • it is not one that looks into comparisons based on specific jobs when Alice points out that the problem is that it specifically references "average women".

  • Exactly why men are being paid more.

  • LOL

  • Ouch! An unintentional math insult. XD

  • My mom's already dead!

  • Woman-----75 cents

    Engineer-----1 dollar

    Unappreciated math--Priceless

  • i dont get it

  • The woman said men are paid 25% more.

The article actually said women are paid 75 cents for every dollar (100 cents) a man gets.

The increase is 33%, not 25%. She did it as 100-75 = 25, instead of 75/(100-75)=33.3%

  • no. Good try, but its (100-75)/75=33.3%

And i spose theres no chance you'll praise me for mine either..

  • i love you

  • ah nuts, did it right in my head but wrote it down wrong ^^

Ah well, least one ours is correct :D

  • @Skwonko No, but I can call you a nerd about it. :)

  • Haha get it? He just revealed the reason why they get payed more.

  • LOL win

  • lmao!

  • lawl

  • Lol. The girl just got owned.

  • haha..i can't believe how long it took me to work that out.

  • i love these little shorts

    there so funny :)

    loool

  • well there is an explination for you;

if the woman in the cartoon knew math then maybe she would be paid more

  • so true haha

  • Brilliant!

  • Nice onem Wally.

  • fun 5 out 5

  • lol, one of the best yet. Also probably the most offensive yet, but often the best humor is...

  • that was kinda funny.

  • I get it. Does that mean I look and act like Wally? :O

  • Wally:1

    Women: 0.

that's why Wally's a badass. he took on all of womenkind and won.

  • wow. thats hard to do. lol

  • This is amazing cuz of how few people are getting this.

  • funny stuff

  • That statistic is just like saying __ people die every minute from ____. As much as people like to say them they're only statistics.

    Still it was really funny.

  • lol. no praise whatsoever.

  • Not sure what you mean, Radar.

  • Sigh. Women are making $0.75. Men are making $0.25 more. So 0.25/0.75 is 33% more. You are looking from the man's wages instead of the woman's wages.

  • Comment removed

  • Yeah, Wally was right. If a man makes a dollar (100 cents) and a woman makes 75 cents, then the man is making 25 cents more.

25 is 33% of 75, so the man is making 33% more.

He's making 25 *cents* more in the example, but he's not making 25 *percent* more, as the woman said, so Wally was not wrong.

  • Okay, okay. Geez "Dad!"

    You people are cruel.

  • Well, maybe if you weren't so insistant that everyone else was wrong, you wouldn't get thumbs down.

  • haha right! They tought this in finance class.

  • Very nice. Most people don't get that.

  • ...he was right... Unless I'm retarded. And I don't think I am...

  • Comment removed

  • And $1 is 133.333333etc.% of $.75. Listen to what he said again...

  • Congratulations RadarKat73080... you just made a fool of yourself on the internet by unwittingly making yourself the target of the joke that the comic was addressing in the first place. Well done!

  • RadarKat. You're a woman aren't you.

  • Lol... Wally are cool!

  • And nobody cares so just shut the hell up .

  • Wally is classic

  • nice, idk but dilbert is surprisingly funny in a bland sort of way

  • Gotta love Wally. :)

  • rofl

  • lol
