You we're registered on a forum, and you used the same password for the forum that you did for your Low Carb site, Paypal, email, etc.

Make a password that is difficult to crack. Beware Invision power board. ;)

Hey, I'm a new subscriber here, and I'd like to give a VERY important caution to all low-carbers... I was taking a protein shake at work instead of a meal and it was originally 3 carbs per scoop, now it's nine (!!) carbs per scoop- so watch out!! Brand is Six-Star Whey protein...

This was even more tricky, they CHANGED formulations from 3g per scoop to 9g WITHOUT changing the design of the jar at all- if you ever go to Wal-Mart, check out the vitamin/sports supplement section and you'll see what I mean. It was a fantastic deal before, as I was really losing weight- but EVERYONE should be aware manufacturers can change FORMULATIONS without a packaging change to tip you off! I never thought I'd be fooled- until I completely stopped losing weight!

Be careful on what sites you visit. Even if its a totally legitament site. Make sure you run firewalls, decent antivirus (NOT NORTAN [OVERRATED AND DETECTION RATES ARE RUBBISH]) Also remember that even a totally legitimate site can be infected. Make sure you patch your browser when it sais updates.

Sounds like they could of actually gotten into your computer... my advice would be change any account passwords, and get a good firewall and antivirus... otherwise it may happen again! Hope from now on all goes well.

That's possible with the new spyware that's out there these days, but I have a Mac and it's VERY hard to break into one of these. I have already changed all my passwords, so we'll see what happens. Let's just say I'm still on alert.

Dam thats sucks.... btw people who intentionally do this kind of stuff are crackers not hackers... Hackers are the good guys who hack things together to make things work... crackers are the maliscous folk. Always create non obvious passwords seperate for each account, with random numbers, letters and sometimes characters in :)
