  • A great store, sadly missed. I still have a Spinadisc bag some where!

  • Very sorry to hear this -

a fall can be bad bews indeed.

Do hope he gets better -

    all good wishes.

  • It was Dick Raybould, he was the original owner and was the owner until it closed.

Last I heard he fell down some stairs or something and hit his head badly, lost his memory and hasn't been very well since. Great shame!

  • I don't think you'll find many people criticising Spinadisc - it was a great music shop. However - the best days for me came before this film when Spinadisc was on Abington Square. The original owner (whose name escapes me briefly)

was absolutely fantastic! I will never forget him as he was polite & so helpful & nothing was too much trouble if you had a query. Do hope he's still around & All the best to you mate - you must have been a gem to a lot of people!

  • spinadisc was a good shop...i started goin there when it use to be in abington sq. , they use to get all the fresh new york hip hop vinyl...then it moved to abington st in 88...good memories..

  • Yeah well I didn't know that before I met you again matey :)

  • I wish Spinadisc was still there. All you got now is the wanky fucking HIV and Virgin in grosvenor. I remember Mark Jones who worked there some years back, he also did lots of work on the ZX Spectrum. I remember all the guys in this video. I still see the long haired dude now and then walking about and also in the Billy.

  • Mark Jones is me! I uploaded it.
