PL Gakuen has raised the best twirlers of Japan, like Seishi Inagaki and Chiharu Tachibana. Its team has represented Japan in the world championships for many decades and in the Ritsumeikan team, which is representing the country now, 6 out of 10 are from PL Gakuen. No doubts that they are Ichiban of Japan as referred in the description.
my teacher is a professional Baton twirler. no enfence to the twirlers in this vid(since i always hit myself in the head with the baton) my teacher is ten times as better. but ill still give you 4 0r 5 stars! ^^
Well, i was just trying to say that they could sharpen the pull ups an passes nd do some more things under there blank tosses and spinners. They have amozing potential though!
If such is the case, would you be averse to uploading a web video of yourself doing more advanced twirling, to the same medley, while wearing the correct shoes? So, the rest of us could the final judges on the subject?
please remember this video is 17 years old and baton apparel has changed soo much over the last decade i think its unfair to pck on the shoes and in those insteps it was bloody hard to make your toes look pointed no matter how much you were inside the shoe the hard leather and rubberon the front stayed rounded.
i agree their twirling is very basic and not sharp in my baton team our coaches say that the moves we do have 2 be crisp if we want them 2 look good and we try 2 make up our own moves so were unique from the othr groups :-P
OK! Finally got the picture; but, no sound. Even so, it's easy to see why these girls are the Number One team in Japan. Not a single discernible mistake or flub. Domo arigato, ladies!

this isnt the best i've seen, but i think they were focusing a lot on sinchronizing so they chose some of the simpler moves perhaps.

You know, People named that horrible shoes INSTEPS, And also we do in the team, only the shoes of us are black! So WHAT ! Carycomic you're right!
DetjeNL 4 years ago
they could at least point their toes and do maybe a double under those tosses!
camarostwirler301 4 years ago
If they're considered "ichiban" (numero uno) in Japan, I guess they can pretty well perform however they want. ;-)

Something seems to be wrong with the "replay" button. This web video gets no farther than two seconds in, before reverting to the rest of the menu!
Very, very frustrating.
