Every glass of water you take, inevitably will have some molecules of Prozac, poisons, etc. The fact is there are many more molecules of any of these substances in the world than there are glasses of water in the world. This goes for all sorts of naturally occurring chemicals compounds as well.
I wonder how these contaminants will be removed when levels reach dangerous amounts; or what the side effects will be from any neutralizing agents. They may need to develop a sponge type molecule that attracts them and then might be able to filter out the remaining muck.

in the uk most kids hate plain water and its really hard to find a drink without aspartame in, basically it has to be pure orange juice or milk. thats it. all others have aspartame and other stuff in. In my chemistry and micro biology class We learned that it takes 10 years for our water to filter through the sand and into our water tables. Then it is pulled up through the wells and filtered again in different ways. If that isn't safe enough for you I don't know what is. The chemicals in the bottles no good for us or the environment.

unless that crap is too light and can stick around thru evaporation maybe home distilation could solve this but wouldnt drinking distilled water cause me to leech out my minerals and such ? .. if so then hypethetically is there a way to remineralise it with some type of method that i could use? no need to name anything i just want to know if its possible in a home environment

I wish I could agree that it was anti-depressants that are the problem but from all my research active ingredients in prozac, zoloft.. and so on are fluoride (poison). Many American cities are fluoridated (poisoned) because people think its good for their teeth. Maybe it is this dumping of toxins into our water that is the problem and not pills? Hmm - a couple of pills vs. a couple million gallons of poison? Google Sodium Fluoride and perhaps we can correlate our findings.

Natalie, what's important is not if the water contains these substances, but the concentration it contains them in. Every glass of water you take, inevitably will have some molecules of Prozac, poisons, etc. The fact is there are many more molecules of any of these substances in the world than there are glasses of water in the world. This goes for all sorts of naturally occurring chemicals compounds as well.
