Gillibrand is the worst kind of gun nut- voting to make the importation of polar bear skin "trophies" legal, and to open up all public lands to hunting and trapping. She wants a national holiday for hunting & fishing.
Her selection also insures that her House seat will be re-won by the GOP in the next election.

Gillibrand is a anti-ecology, anti-environmental whackjob.
And Paterson shows his chronic incompetence by choosing her.
She won her seat in a GOP district because the GOP incumbent's wife called 911 over domestic abuse and it went public.
By shifting Gillibrand to the senate, her House seat will likely be retaken by the GOP in the next election.
