@kimmie1401 I've been a huge fan of Christina for along time, and there is no denying that she has amazing talent...but screaming like that sounds REALLY unpleasant to the ear in my opinon. You're right that maybe that if Barbra Streisand were to do that, she would be praised. But that's kinda irrelavent to the fact that Xtina is a screamer and it doesn't sound good.

Why???? Why???? Why do the female singers of the past 10-15 years think it is necessary to BUTCHER cherished music such as this? Silent Night was written 150 years ago and for 130 years, people treated this amazing song with dignity but today's performers feel it is far more important that they demonstrate their vocal capacity than to allow the majesty of the song carry. She has a pretty voice but her "styling" of something that does NOT require it makes it simply unlistenable.
