How to Detect If your pc has been hacked or not

How can you tell if your mac has been hacked? Also do you know if such a thing as a Cuff hacking exists where hackers not only break into your computer but copy your hard drive and remotely control your computer. One hacker even moved some of my folders on my desk top so either he / she was sloppy or demonstrating that he / she could get into my system. Any advice would be appreciated.

@SugarPlumCandie If you think their keylogging, open task manager, and go to processes tab. Every computer has what's called "winlogon.exe" If you have more than one, yes, you're being keyloged. if you see more than one, DO NOT DELETE ONE. You risk deleting the wrong one and destroying your computer.

Clear Cmos, flash bios, and use iso. image program to zero out your hard drive than clear cmos again then flash bios again then reinstall windows! After that if you go somewhere and get hacked again that's your deal!! Redo your hard drive like this once a month at least! Get an external HD and keep everything on it so you can make it easy to redo everything and never leave it plugged in to the computer unless your using it and always unplug your Ethernet cable when not using your computer!

Some connections can be hidden with a special network driver.

I do netstat -ano 8, and every 8 seconds it will do it auto. NOTE to have it stop press ctrl+C and then once I find a hacker I use shutdown -i and I put their ip in. is this the best way to deal with it. How can I mess with them for comming on my computer.

lol using shutdown -i will not shutdown their pc. I dont know why you think it will. the shutdown -i command only works on domain networks running professional or server versions.
