If you're looking for patterns in life that match a theory without actually testing whether the theory is valid, then you might be attacting too much importance to it. Just a thought.
Some peoples talk about Nov 6 also, cause if you take the most significant even in the latest 10 years (Sept 11, 2001) and reverse the number : 9-11-01 you get 6-11-10 or Nov 6, 2010.
I'm pretty sure Terrence McKenna applied the 13 Baktun's of the Mayan calender to compliment his theory and in return, the 2012 singularity point was more accurately placed in December rather than November. Idk... I don't read up on this enough.

Initially when creating the Timewave, Terence claimed he didn't know about the Mayan Calendar and he arrived at an end date for the wave of Nov 16th 2012. Once he learnt about the Mayan Long Count Calendar he moved the end date of the wave to match up on Dec 21st 2012.

In some interviews Terence stated the Timewave ends on Dec 21st 2012, without admitting the earlier date, to imply he independently reached the exact end date as the Mayan Long Count calendar. Why? To increase interest in the theory?

hmm, odd whenevver i boot this console up it springs a year 55 instead of a 12, so i gotta hit "B" THEN "1" THEN "Y". real quick, goes through every 10 second counts. i never heard his original end date, even in his books. any end date can be INPUT. unfortunately, can't get the resonance to graph FUTURE MATCHES, only shows the "past", and only so far, i'm not about to regraph 12 maps over and over for 100000's of times to get predated history, grrrr. steeper drops = shorter time (tick wise)
