The healthcare plan must be re-vamped and include ALL people.. medicare for all, so that the system does not get taxed only with the sickest people. Those in need and not being able to afford intervention or medication usually end up in my unit.. ICU.. We patch them up, send them home, and they are soon back again. This used to be a problem I would see with the elderly, but presently, in this recession/depression, it is applicable to young and old. People have to decide between shelter, food, and medicine.
