I freakin bought a book yesterday in this subject. its blowing my mind. Open the mind to your thought vibrations affecting water on a molecular level i guess is how Id put it. The research is loke foolproof. And thorough.Masaru Emoto is theauthor and researcher
It's not that i believe this is not true but as a scientist I think it would be foolish to believe in this without some sort of reasonable explanation as to how our emotions could do this.
This also applies to cooking since food is mostly water. Cooking while you're bitter, angry and frustrated will cause the food to taste bitter. Cook with compassion, joyfulness and pure love for yourself will make the food the best food you've ever tasted.
How was the water exposed to these. Oratory? If so, does pitch, or frequency of the orator have any effect? If thoughts, is it a consistent pattern from person to person? Intention, some of these thoughts, or ideas, like the "I wanna kill you" one, if not sincere and merely a recital of the words - contrasted with someone thinking/saying it with a sincere intent produce identical patterns?
@Lysistrata8u I completely agree with you. There are many factors not accounted for. In other well controlled studies, you can't replicate the data of Masaru Emoto's. Also never trust research done by the same person who is profiting from the research. He sells bottled water that was "restructured" for 35 bucks. Its just a huge scam.

Look people. sound waves create vibrations that effect each of these bodies of water as they are reaching their freezing points, which may form more intricate patterns than would water freezing in a quiet room. id be willing to bet certain wavelengths played would all create consistent and intricate patterns just as Beethoven or the word "peace" would.
@sneakywill You fail to comment on the typed words on paper portion of the experiment. Sound is not the only thing at play, but it is obviously a factor. Harmonics will always produce more geometric crystals, and disharmony will always form less geometric crystals, but what about thoughts, and ideas? @bigperson666 You sure are quick to judge. Is it so much to believe that all things have subconsciousness even without the need of a brain?.. Subliminal messaging from will and intent does alter DNA. From water arose other organisms, and those organisms evolved... Using organized thought to do so... The venus fly trap adapted to feed on what was once its predator, it has no brain but overtime it's DNA changed to fit its environment. Science is a young pursuit, faith is ancient.
@bigperson666 lol, and you're the child who finds it amusing to needlessly spit hostility? What are you gaining from being rude besides looking like some attention craving kid? Thanks dude I will enjoy the snow flakes, I'm sure they're twice as badass as basic was.
This was also covered in the movie: What The Bleep Do We Know?". It questions the validity of what we think we know and discusses the nature of reality, the nature of consciousness, the nature of God, etc. Search Youtube for 'Dr Quantum's Double Slit Experiment. Short clip that blew my mind.
surely it was the tone they said the words in and not the words themselves. The words "Demon" and "anger" mean nothing to those who don't speak english. Maybe they were english speaking water molecules.
@Mulekeep Not yet, it's new research. Don't call bullshit yet. Look up structured water on Google. Do some thorough research before calling bullshit on anything.
@Moshikashitenai I would like to see multiple frozen water crystal examples for each word, (or piece of music) as each crystal is unique...nice 'over all' photo word matches...
@Moshikashitenai LOL yes, water DOES crystallize into beautiful forms UNLESS it is polluted by soo many other chemicals that it forms other crystalline structures. I understand that words & thoughts have an ability to effect water, and perhaps even change the structure...I wonder to what extent this 'water memory' is effected&how clean it be made? PS only pics of the "hate crystalline water" I could find where the same image on Google, got any recommendation links for me? Love.
@Moshikashitenai I am looking for specific scientific studies that do comparative form/structure analysis of ALL (or at least many) the droplets of water in each container that had the words spoken to them. The recent link you PMed me has the same photos as the others I have found by googling. Do you have links of scientific studies that show the majority of the crystallized droplets contained in each "labeled to say certain words/music) to compare them to themselves?
@JonathanSeagullUtube I can't find that specific of studies on it that deal with word meanings because most people just blow it off and call it bullshit without studying it. Hell, I'd do the studies myself, but I have nothiing to magnify the droplets with and my vision is halfway out the door.
@Moshikashitenai try "Masaru Emoto rice experiment" but if you do it, do it right with a control group and do it at least 3 or 5 times to avoid to get it "right" just by chance.
Amazing how ridiculous this crappy new propaganda is!!! I love how they claim to have photos of the water... Anyone know what technology is used to photgraph their findings! No, cause it doesnt exist, nor do any of those researchers.
@ggombieron The fundamental problem with imaging tiny things is that you are limited by the wavelength of the radiation you are trying to detect. Actual visible light can only be used to image things within its wavelength. This is tiny, but not short enough to image individual molecules. It doesnt matter how good a lens, or how big a microscope you build, it simply cannot be done.
@ggombieron When we wish to visualise atoms, such as in individual proteins, one very common technique is to use X-rays. X-rays have an incredibly short wavelength, but have the drawback that we cannot focus them. What is done instead is to shoot high-powered X-rays at a sample, collect the image of the scattered X-rays and then use a mathematical formula, the Fourier transform, to resolve the image. Also electron microscopy employ's techniques which are not vastly dissimilar.
@illlllest no but i saw a coughing man in the center of "You make me sick, i'm going to kill you" or he could have been looking at his watch, but i doubt it
Does anyone know the actual experiment this is based off of was unanimously considered junk science? The procedures were tainted, the results were selected. Its easy to do, look for crystals until you find an ugly one or a pretty one then make that "the" crystal shape for said water even know theres billions for each. Its basically slight of hand.
So... water speaks english??? luckily nobody tried with another lenguage, maybe you'd have confused poor water... And by the way, I'd love to see where did water learn enghlish (I mean, in house or at school), and surely which were its first words (mom? dad?). Oh', yes! I see, many people aroudn the world have done this, so water is polyglot. But most of people CANT REALLY SEE THE POINT... WATER IS SPEAKING!!!! You should be happy lobotomy is outdated... have a good magic life (with water...)
@andresreiter No one said it had to be English if you actually research it its "words of love, anger etc." not ENGLISH WORDS OF LOVE , ANGER, ETC.
stop finding reasons to doubt and just believe, why is it so hard to except that the world and the universe function in a perfect manner for existence.. the way our bodies work the way the ecosystem is balanced, the way the planets revolve around the sun. we live in the PERFECT location. not to close and not to far.. Just except there is a God.
@andresreiter water wasn't speaking, it was reacting. aghhh boy gotta love the mind of an all-out scientist...you and my geologist dad would get along great..when he watched this the first thing he said was "SO WATER UNDERSTANDS ENGLISK?? WHAT IF SOMEONE TALKS TO IT IN GERMAN?? IT WON'T UNDERSTAND?" I didn't answer him, and I won't spill the beans for you either...this is one you have to figure out on your own but it might require you to think outside your little bubble : )
@ObiWanGinobiliTopFan@isummerrlovee Yeah, so... my narrow mind doesnt allow me to understand that... wait, yes... water UNDERSTANDS... (and, by the way, it knows who Adolf Hitler is...). I'm not trying to sound all-out scientist... just not crazy... Come on, we're not joking here!!! ITS WATER, whats wrong with people!. I can figure out why people needs to have some long beard old man and call him god, but dont mess with poor water. I think the need for believing is stronger than any reason....
@andresreiter LOL that's funny stuff... But hey just imagine-- if this stuff is true you could do fun experiments like leave a gallon of water next to the TV during a 24-hour Chris Farley marathon, then chug down the whole gallon and see what happens. Or is it even worth the risk? ...I'd hate to have a hunny over the next night and right when we're about to get friendly I jump up screaming and smash my face through the coffee table
@ObiWanGinobiliTopFan Finally, I really like the possibility of debate this video has given us. About the experiment, I dont know how and where it was it was made. For example: every single H2O molecule cristalized the same way under the same stimulous? It's never been said so... so, I could look all around in the crystal until I find what I want to represent?. Could it be repeated, lets say, in Stanford or Yale?. Wow, im sure it whould change the wordl, but it hasnt. And the hoax? Money...
@andresreiter Well, if it's not true then it's a pretty weird hoax or trick. Why would they do that? I can almost understand people hoaxing crop circles or UFO sightings but...water? That would be pretty lame. I don't see what the point would be..not too many people are that interested in water if you think about it. If it was a hoax they'd probably at least upgrade to Yoo Hoo
@ObiWanGinobiliTopFan I must be honest and admit: I didnt do any kind of experiment, and didnt care to even read or get the true sources, the conditions of the investigation, anything. But I have my reason: Why? cause it doesnt really matter how they got the results, something must be wrong if they get that results (I now.... now I'm being narrow minded). But the simple fact that water could know who Sor Teresa de Calcuta is.
@ObiWanGinobiliTopFan and lets face it: the results doesnt have any kinda of sense: the simple fact that we "kinnda like" more certain cristalization patterns in the ice (the pretty ones) and other ones are ugly, it doesnt mean they are more good or bad in nature itself. Now, water doesn't just shares our moral judgement and knowledge about adolf Hitler, but algo have the same aesthetical sence.
@andresreiter Just want to comment on that Adolf Hitler observation. It might be not the word itself causing that reaction in water molecules, but the emotion the person who wrote/said that name felt at the time when thinking of the person. Just a theory.
@KixxSasuke Good one... didnt really thought about it... but, in the present, let's suppose the words were printed rather than writen... so we whould have to believe that the feeling went, from the one who thought about Hitler to the water, passing from the PC, to the printer and finally to the printing itself. Not THAT crazy as thinking water knows about Hitler, but still quite improbable. Anyway, thanx for the idea.
@miglangel it's real, do some research. if i call you something insulting it affects you negatively (for a short while anyway) why not the same with water molecules?
I would belive this if I saw several water drops from the same person, same emotion and same time make similar crystals, otherwise these are just pictures, and nothing to take note of.
For everyone calling after studies, check out the new study made in Stuttgart. Just type " Water has memory" to youtube search and watch the first video (made by oasishdchannel ). Peace :D
This is not informative, a very hippy approach. I'm gonna see if I can find out more about these experiments and what sort of controls they had in place. If it's discovered that there's actually any substance to this - it could be amazing, we're always loking for a 'finer microscope' to examine the unknown with. But so long as these wishy-washy 'true with no proof' vids keep on multiplying...they're gonna continue to put me off.
Sorry folks, science supports none of this. Gregg Branden, lots of info about him, no published studies. Vladimir Popponin, clearly doesn't understand the importance of telling people your methodology. Emoto himself, once again, just doesn't get why you need to tell people exactly how you did the experiment. Not a single piece of 'research' on this is peer reviewed or available for criticism. It's all non-falsifiable. Not trying to put you all down but we must retain scientific integrity.
@KidInsight How do you explain the cymatic experiments done on a flat speaker using sand where those beautiful shapes you find in nature started showing up?? Those shapes came from high frequency's being in tune.....can you explain that sir? Why is everyone always so skeptical of something so beautiful? You afraid you might have to look inward and see who you truly are? Seek love first and everything else falls into place in life. This is by design...and yes, science proves this as well.
@vinnys025 Please refer me to a reputable study and perhaps I'll reconsider. If any of this was true, scientists would be all over it. And yeah I can explain that but a GCSE physics book will do a better job. Just because it looks pretty doesn't make it beautiful. Beauty is truth. For all I know Emoto could well be right, it just hasn't been proved. Until it has, this still remains pseudoscience.
@KidInsight Why would scientists be all over it?? Mainstream scientists are bought off by all kinds of groups with agendas, plus many of them remain unflinchingly skeptical of some things even when there's evidence available to them to observe. You'd have to shove the proof right in their face and still many will be "skeptical"-but I have a better word for it-- Ignorant.
some one is having a bad day haha, you dont have to believe but only a person who is stressed or mad about how thier life has turned out will only see the bad side, can you make i link to this from an assumption like that?, its not all hogwash, i seen thing differently last week
If you'd look this up instead of swallowing any pretty shit that makes you feel good and affirms your vaguely defined beliefs, you'd find it's a bunch of bullshit this guy made up for the usual selfish reasons.
BY HIS OWN ADMISSION, he did this loads of times for each emotion, AND THEN SELECTED THE PICTURE THAT BEST MATCHED THE EMOTION.
So the implication that the water had some magical responsiveness is a total lie.
Yet another quack has linked to this video online. Congratulations, yet another true moron buys this tripe, you've got quite a following of idiots. It's a true crying shame that people accept this quackery / pure bile as fact when it's obviously pure non-reproducible unscientific nonsense.
Why do you think depression causes cancer, happiness causes beauty, its simple science that it's being portrayed as a lie by the mainstream science, since the mainstream scientific institutions are all like the media, created for and by rich people who benefit from deseases. Words affect neurological paths in the brain, why can't they create disruptive water crystals...
@dwt253 the only worthy thing my infantry instructor taught me in the Marine Corps was this: "If you wanna safe face, try shutting the lower half of it."
I love Dr, Masaru Emoto!!! He will prove to be one of our great Teachers in the coming years of the Ascention.. My fave is the LOVE & GRATITUDE crystal :)
I find it very surprising that someone would see this and think religion. It's proven science. When we're born we are around 90% water and it decreases to 70-75% as we get older. Newborns bones are very flexible and not very solid. It takes intelligence to be able to think out of the box, and it surprises me how many people are in denial about this proof. The main message her is that if our thoughts can do this to water and we are mostly water; what are we doing to each other with our thoughts?
@mcshoe2010 In the name of god Allah most gracious most merciful; I dont find it suprising that god has revealed this merical that is now being discovered by a non muslim. @futurehorizon24 Right. Just like they proved evolution and the origin of the universe through repeatable experiments in a laboratory. It takes alot of Faith to believe in what scientists tell us.
@futurehorizon24 Scientific experiments have been done, (both on water and humans). The study was carried out I believe by a scientist called Gregg Branden. (if you Google it I'm pretty sure you will find it.) . I hope this helps you in your study.
it's disturbing how people are just blowing this off. and for those of you sayin "it's just christian crap" you're wrong this has nothing to do with religion. It has to do with how positive and negative words really effect our bodies and mind. Do you really think it's that outlandish to think that positive words and thinking leads to a more fulfilling and peaceful lifestyle. It saddens me that people are so quick to shoot down possibility and place limits on what our minds can do.
Gosh darn it. This stuff is bogus. It's crazy how so many grasp on to pseudoscience. Sorry to burst the bubble... Just Wiki Masaru Emoto and google 'Is Masaru Emoto for Real'

From water arose other organisms, and those organisms evolved... Using organized thought to do so... The venus fly trap adapted to feed on what was once its predator, it has no brain but overtime it's DNA changed to fit its environment. Science is a young pursuit, faith is ancient.

@Moshikashitenai I would like to see multiple frozen water crystal examples for each word, (or piece of music) as each crystal is unique...nice 'over all' photo word matches...

@JonathanSeagullUtube That "pics or it didn't happen" mentality will do nothing to further your knowledge. If you want pics, look them up.
Moshikashitenai 1 month ago
@Moshikashitenai LOL yes, water DOES crystallize into beautiful forms UNLESS it is polluted by soo many other chemicals that it forms other crystalline structures. I understand that words & thoughts have an ability to effect water, and perhaps even change the structure...I wonder to what extent this 'water memory' is effected&how clean it be made? PS only pics of the "hate crystalline water" I could find where the same image on Google, got any recommendation links for me? Love.
JonathanSeagullUtube 1 month ago
@JonathanSeagullUtube I'll send a link to you in a PM.
Moshikashitenai 1 month ago
@Moshikashitenai I am looking for specific scientific studies that do comparative form/structure analysis of ALL (or at least many) the droplets of water in each container that had the words spoken to them. The recent link you PMed me has the same photos as the others I have found by googling. Do you have links of scientific studies that show the majority of the crystallized droplets contained in each "labeled to say certain words/music) to compare them to themselves?
JonathanSeagullUtube 1 month ago
@JonathanSeagullUtube I can't find that specific of studies on it that deal with word meanings because most people just blow it off and call it bullshit without studying it. Hell, I'd do the studies myself, but I have nothiing to magnify the droplets with and my vision is halfway out the door.

ggombieron 3 months ago
@ggombieron The fundamental problem with imaging tiny things is that you are limited by the wavelength of the radiation you are trying to detect. Actual visible light can only be used to image things within its wavelength. This is tiny, but not short enough to image individual molecules. It doesnt matter how good a lens, or how big a microscope you build, it simply cannot be done.
truthseeker010101 3 months ago
@ggombieron When we wish to visualise atoms, such as in individual proteins, one very common technique is to use X-rays. X-rays have an incredibly short wavelength, but have the drawback that we cannot focus them. What is done instead is to shoot high-powered X-rays at a sample, collect the image of the scattered X-rays and then use a mathematical formula, the Fourier transform, to resolve the image. Also electron microscopy employ's techniques which are not vastly dissimilar.

You should be happy lobotomy is outdated... have a good magic life (with water...)
andresreiter 4 months ago
@andresreiter No one said it had to be English if you actually research it its "words of love, anger etc." not ENGLISH WORDS OF LOVE , ANGER, ETC.
stop finding reasons to doubt and just believe, why is it so hard to except that the world and the universe function in a perfect manner for existence.. the way our bodies work the way the ecosystem is balanced, the way the planets revolve around the sun. we live in the PERFECT location. not to close and not to far.. Just except there is a God.
isummerrlovee 4 months ago
@isummerrlovee so... you didnt read the part of polyglot water uh?... jeje
andresreiter 4 months ago
@andresreiter water wasn't speaking, it was reacting. aghhh boy gotta love the mind of an all-out scientist...you and my geologist dad would get along great..when he watched this the first thing he said was "SO WATER UNDERSTANDS ENGLISK?? WHAT IF SOMEONE TALKS TO IT IN GERMAN?? IT WON'T UNDERSTAND?" I didn't answer him, and I won't spill the beans for you either...this is one you have to figure out on your own but it might require you to think outside your little bubble : )
ObiWanGinobiliTopFan 4 months ago
@ObiWanGinobiliTopFan @isummerrlovee Yeah, so... my narrow mind doesnt allow me to understand that... wait, yes... water UNDERSTANDS... I think the need for believing is stronger than any reason....
andresreiter 4 months ago
@andresreiter LOL that's funny stuff... But hey just imagine-- if this stuff is true you could do fun experiments like leave a gallon of water next to the TV during a 24-hour Chris Farley marathon, then chug down the whole gallon and see what happens. Or is it even worth the risk? ...I'd hate to have a hunny over the next night and right when we're about to get friendly I jump up screaming and smash my face through the coffee table
ObiWanGinobiliTopFan 4 months ago
@ObiWanGinobiliTopFan Finally, I really like the possibility of debate this video has given us. About the experiment, I dont know how and where it was it was made. For example: every single H2O molecule cristalized the same way under the same stimulous? It's never been said so... so, I could look all around in the crystal until I find what I want to represent?. Could it be repeated, lets say, in Stanford or Yale?. Wow, im sure it whould change the wordl, but it hasnt. And the hoax? Money...
andresreiter 4 months ago
@andresreiter Well, if it's not true then it's a pretty weird hoax or trick. Why would they do that? I can almost understand people hoaxing crop circles or UFO sightings but...water? That would be pretty lame. I don't see what the point would be..not too many people are that interested in water if you think about it. If it was a hoax they'd probably at least upgrade to Yoo Hoo
ObiWanGinobiliTopFan 4 months ago
@ObiWanGinobiliTopFan I must be honest and admit: I didnt do any kind of experiment, and didnt care to even read or get the true sources, the conditions of the investigation, anything. But I have my reason: Why? cause it doesnt really matter how they got the results, something must be wrong if they get that results (I now.... now I'm being narrow minded). But the simple fact that water could know who Sor Teresa de Calcuta is.
andresreiter 4 months ago
@ObiWanGinobiliTopFan and lets face it: the results doesnt have any kinda of sense: the simple fact that we "kinnda like" more certain cristalization patterns in the ice (the pretty ones) and other ones are ugly, it doesnt mean they are more good or bad in nature itself. Now, water doesn't just shares our moral judgement and knowledge about adolf Hitler, but algo have the same aesthetical sence.
andresreiter 4 months ago
@andresreiter Just want to comment on that Adolf Hitler observation. It might be not the word itself causing that reaction in water molecules, but the emotion the person who wrote/said that name felt at the time when thinking of the person. Just a theory.
KixxSasuke 4 months ago
@KixxSasuke Good one... didnt really thought about it... but, in the present, let's suppose the words were printed rather than writen... so we whould have to believe that the feeling went, from the one who thought about Hitler to the water, passing from the PC, to the printer and finally to the printing itself. Not THAT crazy as thinking water knows about Hitler, but still quite improbable. Anyway, thanx for the idea.

This is not informative, a very hippy approach. I'm gonna see if I can find out more about these experiments and what sort of controls they had in place. If it's discovered that there's actually any substance to this - it could be amazing, we're always loking for a 'finer microscope' to examine the unknown with. But so long as these wishy-washy 'true with no proof' vids keep on multiplying...they're gonna continue to put me off.
wormbaby666 5 months ago
Sorry folks, science supports none of this. Gregg Branden, lots of info about him, no published studies. Vladimir Popponin, clearly doesn't understand the importance of telling people your methodology. Emoto himself, once again, just doesn't get why you need to tell people exactly how you did the experiment. Not a single piece of 'research' on this is peer reviewed or available for criticism. It's all non-falsifiable. Not trying to put you all down but we must retain scientific integrity.
KidInsight 5 months ago
@KidInsight How do you explain the cymatic experiments done on a flat speaker using sand where those beautiful shapes you find in nature started showing up?? Those shapes came from high frequency's being in tune.....can you explain that sir? Why is everyone always so skeptical of something so beautiful? You afraid you might have to look inward and see who you truly are? Seek love first and everything else falls into place in life. This is by design...and yes, science proves this as well.
vinnys025 5 months ago
@vinnys025 Please refer me to a reputable study and perhaps I'll reconsider. If any of this was true, scientists would be all over it. And yeah I can explain that but a GCSE physics book will do a better job. Just because it looks pretty doesn't make it beautiful. Beauty is truth. For all I know Emoto could well be right, it just hasn't been proved. Until it has, this still remains pseudoscience.
KidInsight 5 months ago
@KidInsight
if you are seeking something beyond pseudoscience, beyond science itself...then research and then take DMT
postmasterw00t 5 months ago
@KidInsight Why would scientists be all over it?? Mainstream scientists are bought off by all kinds of groups with agendas, plus many of them remain unflinchingly skeptical of some things even when there's evidence available to them to observe. You'd have to shove the proof right in their face and still many will be "skeptical"-but I have a better word for it-- Ignorant.

If you'd look this up instead of swallowing any pretty shit that makes you feel good and affirms your vaguely defined beliefs, you'd find it's a bunch of bullshit this guy made up for the usual selfish reasons.

So the implication that the water had some magical responsiveness is a total lie.
