  • Thats Bernard "Pretty" Purdie. The most recorded drummer in the world. He also plays drums on some early Beatles albums and was paid a large sum of money to not speak about it. I was at a rehearsal studio playing with my band and Bernard walked into the studio in the middle of us playing. I immediately stopped playing because I recognized him. He gave me his autograph. Bernard is great.

  • This is Bernard Purdie...i had the pleasure of meeting him in Montreal on a gig i was on.He invented what we call "the Purdie Shuffle".Drummers that have used this shuffle include Jeff Porcaro of Toto for the song Rosanna and John Bonham for the song "Fool in the Rain.This is no joke my freinds and was not intended to be funny.....this man is a living legend.He has played with more artists that you will ever know....Stevie Wonder,Gladys Knight...need i say more!!!
