However, if we're going to rank players based on their mastering every aspect or skill of the game, it's Kobe. Ranking players all-time is nearly impossible, which is why I don't really speak in definitive terms. All I know is Kobe is the most skilled player I've ever seen. His game has no weakness.

@jason60152 You know what, I should have said long-term excellence when mentioning Kareem. No one played at a superstar level as long as Kareem did, although Kobe's gaining on him fast. Also, Kareem has a ton of accomplishments. The only thing Jordan tops him in with achievements are scoring titles(because he shot the way a lot more) and Finals MVPs. Kareem either matches or tops Jordan in every other area.

Jordan led the league in steals several times,and Kareem led the league in blocks several times. Here's where it gets interesting, Jordan only ever led the league in 2 categories(points, steals), Kareem led the league in points, rebounds, blocks, and FG% several times.
