  • Have to say Corabi took this band to a new level. Understand hardcore crue fans would find it hard to accept Corabi is better than Neil but with an open mind, the crue rocked harder, the lyrics were crisper, bassier and more hard rock than the Neil era. The Corabi songs are the only songs I Iisten to from the crue. It's how the crue should of sound from the beginning.

  • Love the song, but not really a Corabi fan, although there's no way that the band could have taken the direction it had with Vince.

I may get a lot of sh!t for this but, the Crue just ain't Motely without Vince.

  • i wish the cruw would bring back corabi

  • corabi is awesom

  • the crue's 1 moment of talent

  • il miglior disco dei Motley Crue, in assoluto!!!! e uno dei migliori dischi metal degli anni 90, assieme agli shovel.

  • i have this cd, had it since it came out, it rocks. the louder the better.

  • Everyone praising Corabi and kissing his ass.....where the fuck were you people when this album first released? It didn't sell for shit and everyone cried that Vince Neil had left. Now we all think this album is the best ever? Fuck you hypocrites. For those new to this you're excluded.

  • @ThatDevilMusic666

    Could not agree more.

  • one of my favorite riffs ever

  • "little boy with vacant eyes, daddy wont be home tonight. and he don't know why. his mother she sits alone, tangled in the web shes sewn." that lyric means so much to me...

  • man, what a load of shit.....DISLIKE!

  • The best Crue album featuring their best frontman. The only reason why Neil is considered better than Corabi is that he is the original singer.

  • corrabi is a good singer just not for crue

  • John "Rock And Roll" Corabi forever!

  • This is not unplugged.. why did link go here?

  • At the end I always thought he said "Little boy with hope for lies" instead of "Little boy with hopeful eyes". Gives the end of the song a totally different meaning.

  • Now Vince dont even sing .. just Say some of the words untill he runs out of breath.. Then ask the crowd to sing the rest for him..!!

  • @oksooner405 you mean shdklsa;kda;skd;klas feel good sklfd;kasj;lfsdjkf;jkl feel good :)

  • this shit kick such major ass, crue almost as a progressive band!

  • This was the path Motley Crue SHOULD have taken.....makes me sad

  • John Corabi brought a harsher but more meaningful Crue Vince was the party animal

  • @TheJames1233 meaningfull crue? hah! okay vince wasn't the greatest "worker" in the band. But the songs nikki and the rest wrote has meanings, dude.

  • this video saddens me n reminds me of someone i loved so dear to my heart n lost him to suicide, n i wish every day i didnt lose him way i did to suicide...:(

  • why vince cant sing this in their gigs

  • Corabi's not bad. He's probably more talented than Vince Neil...But it's just not Motley. This is just some random hard rock song. Whereas Crue songs have a certain something that just sounds right.

  • @VicInNocal This song sounds amazing. That said, in a sense, I agree with you. Great as this whole album (and it's outtakes) is, they shouldn't have called it Motley. Should've renamed the band. To many people got hung up on that fact that John didn't sound like the chubby blond guy...

  • if you were to listen to this and not be told who it is... you can not help but dig this.. .but when you are told it's Crue... there are instantly people who are going to not like it. You just can't deny that this is some great stuff. Had they changed the band name, this would have been on the same level as Temple of the Dog, a great great one time record that lives on thru the years.

  • personally i think they are way better with Corabi, just my opinion

  • One of the most underated rock albums of the 90's

  • @Fuelee1975 such a shame, it's one of the better crue albums in my opinion :(

  • @Fuelee1975 i agree

  • There's nothing wrong with Corabi As a Motley fan, I think it should have been up to Nikki, Tommy the idiot, and Mick to change the same to something other than Motley Crue. I liken it to the G'n'R situation, Slash always said, why not just call it something different than Guns'n'roses, since that's not what it is anymore. Case closed.

  • my old man raised me on the crue, corabi or neil it didnt matter to me cause they were one of my favorite bands when i was a kid

  • by far, the best album the Crue ever did.........

  • @bsouthe @lrhlpn95 "This is the best Crue album"...No.

  • I agree this album is really really great. The more I listen to it the more I like it (and I do like Vince as well) but this is different and Really Good!

  • I love me some Vince Neil. But this is the best overall Motley Crue Album IMO.

  • the people who disliked this probaly disliked crue wtih corabi jus saying

  • what is this song about?

  • Fuck man that rocks!!!!

  • this is kinda Grungey. I like it!

  • Corabi's fucking talented.

  • Great song.

  • Forget Vince, Tommy, and Nikki's fights and stupid decisions, I just love Mick's kickass guitar playing. That is what Motley Crue is, Mick. The solo in this song just blows me away. I only listened to the Red, White, and Crue version for a while, and when I heard this one, I was in awe. Mick is the reason I play guitar.

  • from a musical standpoint, they should have stayed with John Corabi. unfortunately they did things from the music "industry" side...

  • i think this album was great too.... the only problem that happened with the corabi "moment" was evident.....i watched the rehearsal stuff, and ya could just tell from the start that mars wasn't a happy fucker. everyone played it off that having a singer that can play guitar is good...bullshit.. mick aint gonna have some new singer that plays guitar fuck with him...just the way it is...corabi should have played his guitar parts without fuckin with mick's ego...case closed..

  • personally i think they should have stayed with john. its not their fault. in the 90s they assumed vince would still be a good singer and not sound like shit in the future. john however still sounds amazing so yea GO JOHN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Beautiful song....Notice Glenn Hughes on backing vocals.....

  • I'd put that song in the top best 25 -30 crue songs?

  • I just got back from Vegas tonight, lol I went to Vince Neil Ink and this is the video that was playing in the shop on all the TV's. Vince would shit a brick if he saw that.

  • @JohnnyCrueSixx LOL!!

  • nikki and mick were both incredibly happy with it. they knew it was better then anything since shout. what they didnt like was how the record company forced them to bring back vince, throw corabi out and put absolutely NO publicity behind it. in elektras eyes, this album didnt happen.

listen to this and then listen to generation swine.

and you tell me motley was better with vince.

its just the classic tale of ppl shitting on an amazing piece of music because they are not familiar with it.

  • This was an amazing CD. Musically superior to ANYTHING Crue put out before or after.

  • Good song, but there are better motley crue songs

  • some of these clips are also in the home sweet home video are they not?

  • This vocal I like so much to Vince Neil its a Real singer...Its a Real Motley Crue...

  • This vocal I like so much to Vince Neil its a Real singer...

  • I consider this album to be an absolute masterpiece, I don't care what name's written on the booklet....the music, the production, the lyrics are some of the best stuff recorded in the 90's IMO. If I had a time machine I'd go back and make them not call this Motley Crue so people would give it a chance back then.

  • I'm a huge fan of the crue but I dont know alot about this album is this an original song? or a remake?

  • @Lex14Sixx Original, huge fans of The Crue must have read The Dirt :-/ Says everything in there.

  • @krsiBM Lol I acualy read the book sixx times and I was on mi seventh and I didnt get to the Carabi part untill yesterday I got to the part when He talks about writing "Hammerd" and "Misunderstood" I havnt read the book sins I was in the begining of 8th grade mi bad :b just was a bigger fan of vince than John

  • this albu m sucked balls..i think its good but it barley even sold..its got 2 be there worst album ever made.. they shouldve changed their name b4 they made a new album

  • Albums sold means fuck all,

Theres no way you can consider this album worse than Girls'Girls.Girls or New Tatoo,

It's the best material they ever wrote and even the band think so.

  • @mrfenderbenderman nikki sixx and mick mars both didnt like it.The album wasnt commercialy sucessful although it came out at #7 on the billboards IT FAILED to meet the expectations

  • I have always said it , i love both singers John and Vince, that being said, This song is Phenomenal, awesome, timeless, classic , a masterpiece, Love it to death.

  • i think they would have done well if they had just given it a different name. called it something new. there would have been a ton of buzz about this new band. but as 'motley crue' people just couldn't handle it. it DEFINITELY sounds like the early 90's! not really a sound i was into but it would have done well.

  • wow i dnt no y ppl ddnt like this line up of motley crue

  • listen to the 2 different drum sounds in this song, the beginning is kind of barried, and when it kicsk in, it sounds so clear, thats great flavour added to the song

  • people that don't like this album because its not vince are childish, i have been a fan of this band, and of course i am going to listen to them with there new singer, and its fan fucking tastic

  • A lot of the 80s hair acts took more artistic directions at beginning of the 90s. Warrant put out some really cool heavier stuff (AYM, Family Picnic). It was obviously a ploy to fit in with the changing rock scene, but that didn't change the fact that it was good stuff. I still think Native Tongue is Poison's best album in terms of artistry and songwriting. Unfortunately, a lot of the fans didn't dig the more serious work some of these bands put out.

  • Um, holy fuck, maybe they are a bunch of a-holes, but holy crap, they're damn talented: this is really, really good stuff.

  • i can't stand when i read "john corabi & motley crue". NO, he was motley for that album.

  • Nikkis' bass tone mixed with Tommys' kick drum sound so fucking bad ass, especially at 4:47 fuck yeah!!!!!!

  • This album i thinkis one of Motleys best, i love johns voice but yea, i would have to say it didnt sound like Motley i kinda look at this album as a side project therest of the guys did while vince was off doing other shit. I just fucking love the crue there are albums i hate like "New Tatoo" ones i love like "Generation Swine" and then this one, it stands alone i think its amazing.

  • This was the last good crue album. Since vince came back they sound like shit!

  • @krycokid you hit that spot-on. corabi crue was incredible.

  • @krycokid "new tatoo" was a great album

  • @krycokid all motley crue albums were great exxept the johns they sucked all vince is great

  • @krycokid Generation swine wasnt good, new tattoo was pretty good. and saintsofL.A is just awesome.

  • @krycokid not true gen swine was good

  • Sounds like a little beatlesque sounds in there. Very good song.

  • @GEHays

Yeah, I totally hear what you mean. It's got that psychidelic groove, almost like I am the Walrus. This was definitely the Crue's psychidelic album.

  • Amazing song and a spectacular album, I love Motley Crue with Vince Neil, but this record is AWESOME !!!!

  • BEST MOTLEY ALBUM HANDS DOWN! CRABBY! THICK GUITAR SOUND... KILLER DRUMS... AND CRAB!

  • One of the most underrated albums to come out of the 90's. anyone who says that Corabi sucks is just too used to Vince in my opinion. when we heard that Vince left, a lot of fans didn't prepare themselves for a change like they should have. of course it was gonna change...Vince was gone. but that doesnt mean that Corabi sucks. he did a great job with Crue and i for one am glad they picked him. don't say Corabi sucks just because you didnt prepare for the change when he stepped up. \m/

  • One of their best songs its different than nething else they have played

  • WHAT A GREAT FUCKING SONG!!!!!!!!

  • Corabi is awesome in his own right. As a matter of fact, if this album were by Soundgarden, STP, Collective Soul, or any of those other 90s alt bands, it would have been a hit. It was Motley Crue, though. It didn't fit with the expectations they'd programmed their fans to have of their work for over a decade before. That's why it wasn't as well received initially. Corabi is great and contributes to every project he's ever been involved with at a world class professional level. Thumbs up 4 Crab!

  • @JackOfferlott I acually made tapes of this album for friends that were always giving ,me shit for likeing the Crue i said it was a band out of seatle they all fucking loved the whole album. Then i told them it was the Crue. Ha they ate there words.

  • This is good. It makes you want to jam the gas pedal to the floor and not let off.

  • this song and the album rocks and is my favorite crue album

  • Corabi is a awesome singer !

  • This song kicks ASS

  • This was/is an excellent album. Corabi does great work on the vocals. What killed it was Nikki marketing it as a Motley album. Motley is and always will be Vince, Nikki, Tommy, and Mick. Nikki should of promoted this as a whole new band with a different name.

  • Comment removed

  • Whats the name of this song!!! corabi rules

  • @Alejandro1313sixx it's called Misunderstood :D

  • In my opinion, John does have a really great voice, and the music is still Motley Crue. But it's not Motley without Vince. I mean.... it's very rear that a band like Motley (and other bands) switches the frontvocalist after such a long time. I think that they should've quit with motley after the incident with Vince. It's nothing wrong with Corabi, but it's not motley without Vince either. And btw, I didn't like Generation Swine that well either.

Motley Crue is Vince, Nikki, Tommy and Mick.

  • love love love this song, and Motley Crue as a whole. Vince was THE front man, but Corabi's voice is amazing.

  • Great album, John Corabi is fucking cool!

  • best album by far motley crue ever did. the music is still fairly simple, but corabi is an actual writer and musician while vince is just some pretty douche bag poser who can't sing on pitch to save his life. nikki six's (another nihilistic dumbass) own words testify to this in regard to when they first found vince.

this is a band primarily for shallow idiots and posers who are willfully ignorant to anything but the package and image rather than learning about real substance and musicianship.

  • Corabi is a great singer

  • this has been one of my favorite motely crue albums. just wish more fans would have gave john a chance. no disrespect to vince. but had this album been released under a differnt band name it is hard telling the fan appreciation it may have had.

  • THis is a great song, vince or no Vince, it is a hell of a song, it goes regular on my cure playlist

  • it wasn't bad music, it just wasn't "Motley." kind of like Aerosmith meets Trent Reznor. Motley fans are like KISS fans, mostly looking for good time party music.

  • When they fucking kick Vince out of the band, the band went to shit! Bearly anyone went to any of their concerts and yeah vince was a druck but they didn't fucking kick Nikki out when he over dosed how many times on herion?!? Yeah it's fucked up!!!

  • this album is terrific, by far the best they ever did, this song is awesome, power to the music, uncle jack, till death do us part, its a perfect album, they will never do another one as good as this one, thanks nikki, mick, tommy and john for making this album,

  • i use to did not like corabi but now he rocks do not i mean do not mess with the corab

  • This album is so under-rated...

  • love mick mars' solo in this one

  • Motley defiantely should've changed the band name for this album but it's the heaviest most raw record they've ever done. Kickass record and Corabi did a great job.

  • I thought these song were supposed to provoke a Humanitarian response in people but all I see is hatred among you. Bloody shame.

  • I still think crobbi was better because he wrote songs in a deeper sense and they were able to do the light in the shade thing like zeppelin talked about because they had two guitar players then. The only reason it didnt get sucessful is because nobody really listens to music in a deep sense like that anymore, To me he is way better then vince niel because he brings more to the table.

  • corabi's a good singer but i like it more when vince is on vocals

  • Shout the Devil ROcks but this album too . Tanks Coraby

  • Corabi is a great singer, but, if you read "The Dirt" you'll know why he left the band. By the other hand Vince is the Voice of Crue, maybe not a great singer, but he's awsome on stage!

SEX, DRUGS, ROCK &... GIRLS, GIRLS,GIRLS!

  • Corabi is cool man...

    no disrespecte to Vince

  • i love though how this has become so fucked up. People need to respect the Crüe in their real form. fucking vince neil is the shit. John Corabi he was okay, but he was only around for one album. This album wasn't a huge seller, wasn't a huge hit. wasn't too much really at all. But Dr. Feelgood is an amazing album. with vince neil on vocals. not corabi. AND IF I WASNT A CRUE FAN! I WOULDNT HAVE THE THEATER OF PAIN ALBUM COVER TATTOOED ON MY BACK!

  • First time I heard this song, I thought it was Robert Plant singing

  • this might be one of motley cure's best songs... this and hooligans hollyday(brown nose), generation swine, enslaved, bittersuite & bitterpill, all in the name of rock , piece of youre action, primal scream, hell. all the motley songs are good!!!!!

  • i fucking love this album. shame a lot of people are so close minded about it. listen to Welcome To The Numb, Poison Apples, Hammered, Power To The Music....hell just listen to the whole album

  • @neverscrub12 The first time I heard the album "Mötley Crüe" I thought: "What the hell is this? It sucks" but then I listened to it again, again and again... and I began to appreciate it. After a year I can say that it's a very good album; even if is so different from all the previous LPs. But c'mon, it's great, and Corabi did a great work :)

  • garrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrbage! motley is much much better with vince!

  • amen!

  • Motley Crue isn't a band, it's a business. Like KISS, they had to make a choice to save the business and they should've never put this out under that business name. It certainly holds it's own, but is NOT the business Motley built. The product was new Coke and people wanted original.

I personally LOVE this whole album!!

  • Make no mistake. Motley Crue IS a band! If it were a business, it's parts would be interchangeable, like a wal-mart manager. I guess if music is a product to you, your way makes more sense, but it's not too me, and certainly isn't to musicians either.

  • @JustinLB82 It's called the music business for a reason. It's not called, the music for free, or music for art.

I am a musician. i play six instruments, and sing. I have worked with more famous artists than i could count. After a certain point it's clearly a business.

It IS a product when you're at that level. They wont look at their instruments much less touch one without a certain dollar amount tagged on to it. Find someone famous, or someone that makes a real living on music, like myself.

  • Maybe it's just the way you present your thoughts, but you don't seem to me to be what you say you are. I think your full of the ole dung myself. Fuckin fag

  • @JustinLB82 Maybe it's the smell of dick on your breath that makes people not like you. Maybe it's cause prison sex is what you dream of when you're not trying to expose yourself to teenage boys.

Either way, it doesn't matter what you think of me, you are nobody to impress and certainly are always free to go fuck yourself.

    Enjoy you fucking loser

  • LMAO Your a real clown. So I'm nobody to impress, lol that's a clever way of admitting to be unimpressive, or in fact, nothing at all. Your a complete douche. I have deep concern for you regarding the teenage boy comment, you really ought to clear your head of those thoughts, and especially, don't admit to them on you tube, dummy. Go get some help, and stay away from schools and parks, fuckin fag.

  • @JustinLB82

"lol that's a clever way of admitting to be unimpressive" Have you always been that fucking stupid or is that something new for you?

Maybe you should learn basic English, idiot. "Your" and "You're" have different meanings. I guess I wouldn't expect someone like you to get that considering that you think that this is "just a band" and not a business.

Once again, you are always free to go fuck yourself.

  • "lol that's a clever way of admitting to be unimpressive"

Thank you for repeating that, that was a GREAT joke. Are you stupid? How did that confuse or appear stupid to you in the least? You'd have to be a real fucking dumb fuck to not get that! Maybe you should learn basic "how to make fun of the wannabe musician on you tube." You ass faced mother fucking clown. Stay away from children, fuckin fag.

  • @JustinLB82 It's called the music business, not the music for free or for art.

I am a musician and have worked with more famous artists than I could count. I can honestly say that after a certain point it IS product. I have heard plenty of people just as big if not bigger than Crue make mention that they wont touch an instrument without a certain dollar amount tagged on to it.

That's just the way it is. Maybe you should find out for yourself Mr musician....it's a business.

  • Make no mistake, Motley Crue IS a band! If it were a business, it's parts would be interchangeable with no effect on the end product, like a wal-mart manager. I guess if you consider music a "product", your way could make more sense, but music is not a product to me, and certainly not too musicians.

  • But after that he got his job back... they sorta felt sorry for him i guess... lol.

  • too many people say their opinions which havent got anything to do with the crue or their history...just read the Dirt and u'll get it all right Dudes...

  • John has the better voice and talent but the voice of Motley is Vince.. To bad for him. (John) Some of the band best material wrote was on that Motley album.

  • children jon corabi is???????

a good singer too come oooon and a performer. vince will be vince and the crue.... buuuut can he still sound like 1991? nope he does not. ashes to ashes.... dust to dust..dio 70 yrs old. still sounds like 1984 yeeeep

  • Corabi is awesome...and so is Vince. I think unfortunately for Corabi, Motley Crue is only the Crue when its Nikki, Vince, Mick and Tommy. Nobody was ever going to take to a new singer. Nothing to do with who is better its just one of those things. Clearly Corabi has a better voice i think most people would agree.

  • kick ass the heavyest ablum motely crue ever made what happen to john

  • Screw Vince!!!!!!!! Corabi should be the front Man!!!!!!

  • You dumbass, Corabi is just a Kurt Cobain Ripoff

Vince Neil is one of the greatest rock stars ever

  • Listen You young Ass WantaBe Punk, I've seen The Crue 8 times back when you where just a glimmer in your daddys eye. They where awesome, but vince ain't got nothin on John. He ain't even close to a Cobain rippoff as you put it. He put them both to shame. Piss off and keep suckin on your mama's nipple, bitch.

  • Dont call me a Wannabe

I listen to Motley Crue (With Vince) because they kick ass in music

a poseur in my time would be to listen to crap rap, autotune pop shit

  • I took alook at your page & saw the bands you like, very cool. I've seen metallica 5times...one in LA mosters of Rock '88, Pantera 6 times, first concert was Sabbath...seen them 5 times, Ozzy with Randy, Yngwie Malmsteen open for AC/DC on the "For Those About to Rock"tour, DIO, Maiden, Sister and just about any other metal band from the '80's.

  • Well damn, I guess some of us was born in the wrong era

I hate today music, its full emos, preppy pop stars, and fake lazy rappers

How was like it like in that golden era of music

  • bro shut the fuck up

they got rid of Corbai because no one liked him and everyone wanted Vince back

    so clearly Vince is better

  • yeah tommy definetly wanted vince back, just read the dirt and then you wouldnt be so much of a stupid fuck

  • Yeah man. Vince is sounding cough cough...great these days....

Vince is the voice of Motley. John has the better voice. Period.

  • Not only does he sound nothing like Kurt Cobain he's a much better singer,

Vince Neil has has nothing on Corabi either, less range, less soul and less power, He's a great studio singer but can barely sing half the words live.

  • @lazyas420

VINCE IS THE SHIT YO! IF YOU LIKED THE CRUE YOU WOULD UNDERSTAND THAT THEIR HISTORY MADE THE BAND! THEY ARE THE ONES THAT WERE THERE FOR EACHOTHER! WHILE EVERYTHING WENT TO HELL! SO FUCK YOU! VINCE IS THE SHIT! CORABI IS ALRIGHT! BUT VINCE IS THE FRONT MAN! WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT! THUMBS UP IF YOU AGREE PEOPLE!

  • what happened to vince, why did he leave the band?

  • @vanity684 Vince left the band for a while, his daughter Skyler was in the hospital with some disease, it ended up killing her. But Vince wanted to be there with his daughter til the end. so he left the band for a little while, John then filled in for him.

  • Dude Vince had a fight with Nikki and quit. His daughter got sick AFTER he left Motley. John flat out replaced him. John then left in '97 and Vince returned. John was never considered a fill in. He was THE vocalist and a full band member from 92-97.

  • wrong he never quit nor nobody even fired him he just walked out of the room saying nothing

  • He WALKED OUT. He DIDNT COME BACK.

  • yea and also for some other reason two i just dont remember

  • When Vince left the band, Corabi came in and did a fucking excellent job, this album was different at fist cause it wasn't Vince, but then you could tell just how good it was, love Vince for his extensive work with motley, but don't dis John Corabi for his outstanding work on this album, check out his band Scream for his previous work. Don't be a Corabi hater sharxtooth, love motley in whatever form they take, that's a true fan!

  • @TheQuidjibo I totally agree...this was a good album..and this was my favorite song on it.

  • @TheQuidjibo agreed

  • @TheQuidjibo You are right brother. I liked corabi. I just think they should have changed their name. It wasn't motley crue, but it was a great band!

  • @TheQuidjibo Totally agree!! I'm a die hard Motley Crue fan and I love the original line up, but Corabi did a fucking awesome job!!! So what if it's different? It's Motley Crue, it's going to be epic anyway... :S

  • @sharxtooth ok look dumbass vince may b the shit, i will agree with u there, but corbie did alrite concidering what he had to come into not knowing what he was getting into

  • @motleycrue05131994 he still went in their and no one went to thier concerts when corbie was there but Vince made the band amazing

  • @motleycrue05131994 I agree. And the reason no one went to the concerts is because of Grunge and absolutely no promotion from the record companies etc . This album still sounds like Motley (you can easily tell it's Tommy on drums and MIck on lead guitar), just heavier and with a different singer,

  • @sharxtooth there are many examples where they weren't there for each other. after the accident with razzle, it wasn't the same anymore with vince and the band. so i think this intermission with corabi was the right thing. on this album, they don't sound like motley crue, but i think it's great, and it kicks ass.

  • @sharxtooth Too bad Vince sings like a smurf on fucking helium nowadays...

  • @TubeTrollPatrol Now He dont even sing .. just Say some of the words untill he runs out of breath.. Then ask the crowd to sing the rest for him..!!

  • If you believe that you are no motley crue fan.
