I was occupying the warm body slot ( Desk Clerk ) at a French Quarter hotel after Alabama
beat PSU . One room full of Ala ppl called and asked for about a dozen towels , so I went to the room to deliver and a guy came to the door in his birthday suit and he opened the door wide enough to see that the room was full of ppl in birthday suits . he took the load of towels and as he closed the door he said " Hang it in your ass Penn St " !

Ok, I understand that we lost to USC in Birmingham. With that out of the way, why do I still to this day get pm's from Trojan fans claiming that USC should have been the "outright" champion? When #2 defeats an undefeated #1 in a bowl game how can you bring anything but LOGIC into the conclusion? The year before Notre Dame moved from #5 to #1 (granted after defeating #1 Texas 38-10). So, #2 Alabama beats #1 Penn St. They're supposed to STAY #2?
