@tiyayagirl : It is just a template for obtaining the shape of the head for a more customized fit for the wig. Hair is not added onto the template. You must lay the lace over the template, pin it down to the wig head then ventilate the hair onto the lace.

Yes, a shower cap may be used. The video demonstrates the original method of creating a head template.

to phicks you can also use a shower cap and stocking wave cap to protect the hair also it much easier and time effective

Style your hair the way you plan to wear it under the wig.

The template will only fit when you're hair is in that style.
