  • this is awesome. thx for those good tutorials.

thx to this tutorial i managed to build my manual gear box for vehicles today and it freaking works now!

  • Anyone wants to see advanced health meter stuff using this system, V3 of my level just came out. I can't thanks enough comphermc for this tutorial, it made all my old logic useless :P

Health Meter Toolkit - by pivottt

I would really like comph to see it, just so he understands how I thank him !

  • nice tutorials thanks you have helped me make the stuff iv wanted to niceone

  • When is he going to be back

  • do u know how to make ramps that the very top points faces you

  • I applied this logic to single-digit, double- digit, and triple-digit counters. I'm using the triple-digit counter for a ring system on a Sackbot.

  • nice find, i may have to steal this idea :3, btw whats the lowest decimal digit you can get to? is .000 the lowest? or can you go to like .0000000000000000000?

like a node with a signal of .0000000000128 actually ill prolly just inbox you this message

  • Oh ok thanks

  • This is a fantastically useful tutorial. Thanks alot, Comphermc!

  • Sooo what was wrong with the simpler, just as accurate healthbar you made earlier?

  • @Sorimo724 I found that there's a limit to how much health you can decrease at one time. In other words I couldn't make a super-powerful attack that took down the whole life bar in one go.

  • how did you get the green and blue things that show you the percent of the output?

  • Don't see a use for feedback loops but ur other vids kick ass!!!! Also I just made a little big planet 2 bomb survival please check it out! At the moment it is crappy but rapid updates will quickly improve upon it. It's THEE BOMB SURVIVAL by Xzanos

  • Keep on sending in videos. They are a great help to me!! Thanks!!

Can you please make a tutorial on enemy waves? I'm in the middle of a top-down shooter and I was wondering how you stop and start the enemy waves. Please help me!

Btw your copyable level called "Data Transfer" helped me a great deal with the extra layers and the theck and thack layers.

    Thanks a lot!!!!!

  • Thank you thank you thank you thank you. You ust solved my health meter problem for the creator's toolkit. My logic used a counter, but now I can make it back a timer. thank you so much ! I'm going to correct it, contact the CT's admin to give him the new logic with your name in the credits for the timer thing. Oh my god. Genius.

  • @PSNpivottt (yay writing to myself)

Dang, I just realised my logic doesn't work. Doh, my counter pulsers have a max of 10 instead of one. Doh, I made my logic by copy pasting it, so the error is everywhere !!! Took 10 minutes to correct. Doesn't work. Doh, I forgot to put a 100% signal between the combiner and spliter. Still not working. Dang, another error. I forgot the not after the Cure chip... AAAARG. This chip is like... 10 times in my logic. Gosh, this will take a life...

  • Sounds like you could use a little noise removal on your voice track. There's a little electronic hum in the background.

Great tutorials, by the way. =]

  • @TheRCGD Thanks, Its making my life easier now.

    :D

  • Surrounding decorations please ure stuff looked so detailed while mines look like crap sm1 any 1 so me how tp do surrounding/buildings etc il sub to u

  • How does he do the multiple selection such as when he selected those 2 "logic probes"? @8:12

I know you can hold X and you can create a box around multiple objects, but when he did it, no box appeared.

  • thank you for doing more advanced things with your logic i like how your slowly stepping up the pace of the tutorials

  • Did you have some technique of learning logic, like sitting in play mode and trying different things or did you watch videos and play tutorials?

  • Cool, but didn't you do addition without not gates In the tutorial on addition, and could you just set the pulse to activate a microchip that holds the batteries? Just curious.

  • Comphermc... thats the 1st time i couldnt sit through one of your torials :(

  • 6:30 what do I use to find the sum of the inputs instead of just the highest?

  • first thing I thought was $100.00 when I saw the probes going. y'know, the probe has 5 digits and $100.00 is 5 digits, you can store cents! I'm going to save pennies for a vacation! lbp.me/v/zwhry7 (I did not make that level it's just a perfect point for the link)

  • Will this be your health system in Wizard, chapter 2?

  • @LBPlanetorials this was good but can you make more tutorials about Sackbot stuff and things, plz? :)

  • To add up can't you just put the batteries to -20%?

  • @Marci0306 No, because directional combiners discard the negative (they ignore sign)

  • @LBPlanetorials you should do a step by step tutorial on you creating a level that would be great

  • Nothing like a strong coffee and logic tutorial to start the day!

  • @TheSpaceMonkey187 Agreed

  • i love how you do little actions with your sackboy to give him some personality, especially that "waaaaaaayyyy over your heads" bit, cracked me up XD. Keep up the awesome work man, these tutorials are really helpful!.

  • this is so useless

  • @iWRespawn, depends on what you want to do. You can do A LOT of stuff with this.

  • I don't understand what this does. But your awesome for posting these videos thanks! :)

  • Do you have a background in computer science? Nice tutorial, as usual.

  • "and thats when i had my 'aha!' moment! ™"

  • I like these kind of tutorials. Although personally I don't find it useful yet, It's really interesting, and it's deffinately sparking some other ideas. And i'm sure someone watching this will think "This is just what i needed!".

  • i am really seeing potential in this, thanks for the lesson :)

  • What is an example of one of the applications of feedback loops, besides one related to health bars?

  • @synchronizerman Stepping the speed of anything that takes an analogue signal. You could make a vehicle that has different gears??? I dunno. Heh.

  • @LBPlanetorials Well, for Cars with different Gears, I just use Different Movers with a selector and Directional Combiner, any Flaws with this?

  • @synchronizerman

    A currency system.

  • @n64billy Ah, yes! This would make a fantastic currency system. Thanks! :)

  • @LBPlanetorials

No worries, I'm glad to have helped! :)

Perhaps your next video can be an expansion on the concept, and you could show how to set up a shop and collecting money and the such. This way, scores can finally be seperate, and the system itself can be a whole lot more diverse!

I've been subbed to you ever since the start of these tutorials, so I'm glad to have finally given you some help for a change :P

Your teaching is simple and easy to follow. Keep up the great work!
