@yakyakyak69 - I don't want to come across as condescending, but I would do a little more research into what capitalism is and how it functions. In real capitalism, industry leaders and individuals are not allowed to get together (i.e. industry conventions).

No industry groups period, really. There's a lot more to creating a free market than meets the eye. And yes, it all falls under the guise of regulation.

Regulation is required to adhere to the principles of capitalism, to keep the market free. There are things that are disallowed. Of course, I'm sure Adam Smith would be dumbfounded by how the 15th Amendment was bastardized by companies to create the modern "corporation", a concept which will be the ruin of the global society.
