Because voting for the lesser evil is a wasted vote...

  • 'ship jobs overseas' Yea -because you tax them to death here. Who is going to get us out of this mess -Business. Who supports business? Who Kills business? Easy questions. if a rich guy gets a tax break (oh, and by the way -WE ALL GOT A TAX BREAK) he buys cars, houses, sevices and looks for investments -where does that money END UP? In the pockets of those who earned it -not in the pockets of those who didn't.

  • I have no idea why a scumbag failed bank loan officer (the Duuuuu -reason the country is IN THIS MESS) would even run for an office. And he's about even in the polls?!? HU? Who on Gods Earth would support this guy? GET A CLUE -LOOK THROUGH THE BLUE.

  • Alex, you have my vote,, not the big liar Kirk

  • @Lighthouse724 Democrats are pathological liars. Where were the ethics they promised? Oh that's right. They're defending Charlie Rangel, the tax cheat who was in charge of writing our nation's tax laws! Of course, what do you expect from the party of Rod Blagojevich?

  • @Lighthouse724 Giannoulias is a douchebag. Of course, Democrats love tax cheats like him, Charlie Rangel, and Timmy Geithner. I'd expect this from the party of Blago.

  • A failed banker, tax cheat, corrupt Illinois Democrat.

  • you'd have to hate america to vote for lexi..he cost american taxpayers 70 million bucks in bailouts after he bilked the bank for the same amount..ANOTHER OBAMA CROOK..no thanks..ENOUGH DEMOCRATS raising taxes and stealing FREEDOMS..just another obama mouthpiece,STAND UP ILLINOIS JUST SAY "NO"

  • Kirk is a jerk. And a pussy! Kirk pretends he is a Republican to some; then pretends he is a Democrat to others. He is wishy-washy! Alexi is a fighter and a person who would help his state get ahead and he has solid beliefs. The US Senate needs honorable people like Alexi!

  • @Calsummersishere The only people Alexi fights for are his corrupt Democrat friends. And what do Democrats know about ethics, especially since they're making excuses for yet another tax cheat?

  • I wouldn't vote for this crook if you paid me.

  • lexi..nothing but a crook willing to do anything for the other crook..vote straight republican save illinois

  • MR. GIANNOULIAS . . . . . . . BAD FOR ILLINOIS AND BAD FOR AMERICA! GOD HELP US!

  • Kirk is a piece of shit and I am a Republican and I feel this way.

And for you idiots who label this guy a mob banker, remember your non mob bankers who have screwed us with their bailouts and too big to fail.

Hell, I wish the mafia was running the government instead of assholes like Kirk, we would be better off and we wouldn't be lied to as much.

  • @MACKATTACK1970 - Bailout, bailout, bailout... how about getting rid of lobbyists and corporate bullshit? THAT would be a step in the right direction. But the fabric of our country doesn't lean that way. After all, John Hancock was the richest man in Boston. He wasn't a man who wanted freedom... he was a man who wanted more money. Money is the root of all America. It's corporate or it's nothing. Fuck the citizens. Ah, what a land we live in.

  • @TypoFootage With morons running for office like Sarah Palin, with Presidents like G.W. Bush and now Obama even doing the same things, we have no representation and our government is out to help their corporate buddies and line their pockets while they send out kids off to far away lands to wage wage for the benefit of the multi-national Corps.

We live in interesting times and that is not a blessing but a curse as the Chinese have know for a long time.

  • How old is this guy? I know he must be at least 30 to be constituionaly eligible to be a U.S. Senator, but he looks like a little boy.

  • Throw OUT the NeoCon & Democrat Statist Social-Fascist Progressives!

STOP Empire Building & Foreign Intervention with 700+ US military bases OCCUPYING over 135 nations PRODUCING hatred & jihad RESISTANCE!

Trade, NOT bribes/bombs Manipulation OR Isolationism!

STOP Fascist Crony Corporatism, Illegal Immigration & Redistributionist SLAVERY.

Return to Constitutionally limited Gov't, Individual Liberty & Responsibility, Sound Money, FREE competition between FREE States & FREE people.

  • @yakyakyak69 - FREE competition requires regulation. Check out the principles of capitalism... you know those "Got Milk" ads? Those wouldn't exist in a true capitalist society. You know those industry conventions in places like Orlando, Las Vegas, and Chicago? Those wouldn't exist in a true capitalist society.

But I agree on the war bit, the empire building, and the corporate greed. Unfortunately, John Hancock was the richest man in Boston. He fought for money, not freedom. Welcome to America.

  • @TypoFootage The ONLY regulation required in truly FREE market capitalism is keeping monopolies (corporate or gov't) from forming thus killing the competition.

It's unfortunate that the Progressive Social-Facist Statists are working so hard to confuse Crony-Corporatism with Free Market Capitalism. Progressives use half-truths which are the blackest of lies because they can be partially defended. John Hancock risked EVERYTHING, life, liberty & property to fight gov't tyranny!

  • @yakyakyak69 - I don't want to come across as condescending, but I would do a little more research into what capitalism is and how it functions. In real capitalism, industry leaders and individuals are not allowed to get together (i.e. industry conventions).

No industry groups period, really. There's a lot more to creating a free market than meets the eye. And yes, it all falls under the guise of regulation.

  • @TypoFootage Any market that is created and then regulated is NOT FREE!

A FREE market happens spontaniously and is KEPT free from regulation and interference by crony politicians pandering to special interest groups and corporations using stolen taxpayer money. In a FREE market, trade is 100% voluntary without central planning or manipulation with the ONLY exception being protecting the market against monopoly. What YOU describe is crony-corporatism pretending to be free market capitalism.

  • @yakyakyak69 - Actually, what I'm referring to are the words of what many consider to be the father of capitalism, Adam Smith.

Regulation is required to adhere to the principles of capitalism, to keep the market free. There are things that are disallowed. Of course, I'm sure Adam Smith would be dumbfounded by how the 15th Amendment was bastardized by companies to create the modern "corporation", a concept which will be the ruin of the global society.

  • @TypoFootage BTW, please forgive any spelling errors. I'm in a hurry.

  • Republicans almost destroyed our country and got thousands of troops as well as innocent civilians killed in an illegal war.

    Just remember that this November.

  • @Vorilius

And just remember, Democrats controlled congress and kept writing the checks for it to happen.

Oh, and they still haven't brought the troops home.

  • @Vorilius Democrats are the ones destroying the country even more. It was Democrats who supported giving loans and mortgages to deadbeats. It's Democrats who support tax hikes, because we all know that Democrats don't pay taxes. And it's Democrats who support a "health plan" no one wants and government benefits for illegal aliens.

  • Giannaoulias

    YOu GOT MY VOTE!

  • I'm in the UK and even I know that America needs Alexi. Alexi for President 2016! :P

  • @ToManyPhones The hell I'll vote for an Illinois Democrat.

  • So let me get this straight. Alexi Giannoulias makes the case that after he left his bank, it failed and he is not responsible. Simultaneously, he is trying to convince me that George W. Bush is responsible for the shape in which he left the country after he left the presidency. Which is it?

  • @seff0001 Well, he's arguing that the economy crashed under Bush, Broadway didn't crash under Alexi. I'm not saying I agree with his take on his banking, but that's just what's he's trying to say.
