Love it but use a little noise gate, the gain is so high lol. But really good tone, good playing.

5* playing, but how come your tone is so grainy?

I have no idea. I must have not set the EQ right. Having said that, I don't have good quality speakers, having heard my patches through decent speakers i've made adjustments - too much gain and ramped up distortion. Saying that, the shecter's pickup outputs are weaker than the ibanez's so i had to ramp up the EQ settings.

Experimental came from the fact that i was trying out the equipment for the first time... as in, i was hooking up and recording thru a line 6 rather than an amp/mic... but yes, the stuff is pretty generic metalcore. Probably should have defined it better.

this is by no means experimental, its generic metalcore, and it sounds a little too much like unholy confessions by avenged sevenfold for me to rest easy, sorry dude, your a good guitarist, but this is nothing special.

It kind does.. I musta came up with the riff about 4 years ago before i started uni and way before i was really into my metalcore (mostly pop-punk).. gutted to find out that when i found A7X unholy confessions, it was the end of it. Hate it when you figure a riff which a band has come up with something similar to and you don't know!

it happens, i once wrote the riff to "fade to black" by metallica by accident, then right after i wrote it i turned on satellite radio and heard what i thought was my own riff playing through the radio.

Mate, i gather you aint used any line 6 product before? I recorded the riff first time around using windows movie maker which is what you see me doing - the background track. Whipped the audio into cool edit pro. Layered the track and shoved on the finger tapping and harmony. Not as much as what i wanted to do. But if you look at any stuff that's on youtube , you can tell that people are using line6's Either because they're using headphones or sound synthetic. I take all credit for my work!
