In the original, to keep the wazan, you have to read the first 4 words as پیش ازَن کِن (to make it easier, think of it as tun-tunun-tun). In the Urdu version, it would be پیش ازاں کہ . So the Urdu version is infact closer to the wazan. Meaning is also identical. Mawlana is a bit moral liberal than others in following the rules. I hope you understand this.
To arzhaan. Thank you for the comment. No it doesn't break the wazan. Meaning is also same. The wazan is فاعلاتن۔ ۔ . The word in the original is کین، which is in fact کہ این (that this/these). I have used the same word (Bollywood also uses the same word but pronounces it more like "kee"). It went to Hindi through Farsi/Urdu. The beauty of Arabic/Farsi/Urdu verse is that you can skip the vowel sounds, both short and long.

in the 'manzoom tarjuma' , you have used in line 4 'Ki' on the wazn of 'KAY'
...' paish az aan KAY daar o geer o nuktaa-e-mansoor thay'
you have tried to use 'Ki' , like 'us ne kaha KI mujhe JAANA hai' , the word is Ki , with a very slight stress after SOUND OF 'kaaf'
dont you think this breaks the wazan
CLARIFY , please
