I love this movie so much! I'm half black so it really makes me proud and happy.

I don't like how people are really upset that Naveen wasn't african american either, but in my opinion, I think it's good. Watching tv shows, I got really irked by seeing the black guy always with the black girl. I understand having a black prince would be impressive for Disney, but I'm more impressed by them creating a mixed couple :)

I watched the movie today. It was amazing. Prince Naveen is funny. Tiana is adorable. Anika is a beautiful woman. I really enjoyed watching it.

You shouldn't worry about the race of a cartoon character becase that's just silly. Just enjoy the movie.

I hope Disney makes new movies like this.

Aww! Anika's very own doll is of course the prettiest of all the tiana dolls because she's the voice actor. They really put lots of details into her doll. It must cost a lot of money for that one cause it's really differet from the rest because it has more materials.

@startitangirl Yeah, that does suck. None of the retail stores in Orlando carry it either. But I drove out to Disney's Marketplace, and I found the Princess Tiana and the Prince Wedding' dolls which has her and the prince together.

There were like 3 boxes left when I got there.

I am soo excited about going to see the movie tomorrow (12/12/09) and I plan to purchase my 4 year old a Princess Tiana doll. I will allow her to pick the one she wants, all the dolls that I have seen are BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!! No one has the humbleness to pull of playing this new princess like Anika Noni Rose. She will be just PERFECTION for this new princess character, and I haven't even seen the film yet I KNOW. She not only can act but she can sing like you know what.

Anika looks kind of like Tiana too. Except her eyes are different, but they both have pretty eyes even though tiana is a cartoon and Anika is a real person. Anika really put everything into her character and she's seems very proud of herself and it's good that her dream came true about working for disney and not only did she work for disney, but she was also a disney princess.

She deserves the fame. She can sing, and act as well. In the past she has worked with kelly clarkson. Kelly can sing, and so can this woman. I'm pretty excited for this movie. Not just the fact that I'm African American and Tiana is the 1st African American princess from Disney, but the fact that it's a hand animation movie. CGI and computer animation is great! But getting back to how it use to be is just wonderful!
