Wrestlemania has been the only "freakin' awesome" pay-per view by WWE in years. They've really been going down-hill over the past 6 years. I used to not be able to miss a night of WWE. Now, I haven't watched a full show in months if not a year+ Triple H and Undertaker at Wrestlemania sounds like an interesting match.
Bullsh*t.....Triple H vs Orton was pretty weak but the rest of the show was good. I haven't seriously watched WWE in years because it's sucked. I wasn't let down by WM25 though

No if anyone should "drop dead", it's Kozlov. The guy is awful. He can't sell moves, he sandbagged Undertaker, he no sold the tombstone, his timing is God Awful, and hismoveset is even more GOD AWFUL. The only guy wose is Brutus Magnus in TNA
Agreed. Nothing about Kozlov works. I don't know if you saw it, but on Smackdown on Friday he sandbagged the snake eyes AGAIN in a one on one match with Taker, Taker almost dropped him on his face.
If that man goes over HBK on Monday, I can't even imagine it. I really hope they don't screw up the match that everybody wants to see.
And what does Shane have? Shane throws the wimpiest punches and can only do a couple of high spots. If I were Orton, I would have no sold those weak ass punches
Great description. Greatest PPV in many years. The JBL/HBK match wasn't great but the fact Shawns life was on the line made it exciting, and I'm glad to see the old HBK back. I was on the edge of my seat for the smack down chamber. Wasn't happy about cena being in the match for like 3 minutes. Edge winning pissed me off but its good for the business, and i can see Cena winning it back at Mania. MVP would have to go to Rey Mysterio. He was amazing lately he has been reluctant to do his best.
the cena vs edge rivalry was a good one, will be fun to see the sequel.
you forgot to mention that cena also got hit by rey's 619---codebreaker, 619, spear... tough to take, cena prolly didn't know where he was at for a few seconds

ya edge was gunna spear cena but cena countered it into a fu but then chris came and did the code breaker, cena when straight to the ropes and then rey 619'ed him and then edge speared and pinned cena.
They just might as well go back to the old days and have everyone fight on every brand since john morrison and the miz seem like are gonna be the only tag team why not have a winner takes all match for the main event at WM for the titles and just make the ECW title the title it should be, the hardcore title.
You giving it a nine is a bit of a generous rating. The more I think about, the more I feel it was a horrible pay-per-view.
Not able matches were fives star matches. Basically, the two four star matches were both of the Elimination Chamber Matches.
The ECW Championship Match and the All Or Nothing Match were very lacking. Nothing special from either of the match. Finlay should have went over on Swagger. Shawn Michaels going over on JBL was expected.

I was amazed that Knox did rather well in his very first PPV main event match despite him being really nothing more but Snitsky 2.0. The best moments of the PPV, in my opinion, were Cena being eliminated in record time and the sighting of a Botchamania sign during the Finlay / Swaggah match. Great review, TSlay.

Matt Hardy vs Jeff Hardy vs Edge vs Cena at WM would be 10x better then the supposed HHH/Orton and Edge/Cena matches that WWE seem to be going for. The main event situation for WM at the moment looks unexciting to say the least.

Yeah, I thought it was odd that they started with the SD Chamber, which was the better of the 2, in my opinion.
The Raw Chamber could've been better, because I knew from the VERY START, without question,w ho was going to win. That ruined it. A good match, to be sure, but the fact that there was NO room to question the finish...just sucked.
Other than that, it was just the same as any other PPV.
SHAWN MICHAELS CHEATED AND FINLAY TRIED TO CHEAT but it didnt work. RANDY ORTON is the BEST and EDGE is the second best, EDGE did not attack kofi. kofi passed out and EDGE decided to join the elimination chamber.

I have to admit, when I saw the RAW Elimination chamber I was thinking, "Oh God, WWE have done it again, they have booked another match which should have been great, and they messed up." But when the Edge surprise happened and the action started I was taken back, it was good.
I have one problem though, at Night of Champions SD won both Championships, now, once again, SD have both Championships. That means SD has had both World titles twice in under a year. Personally, that isn't right.
True but apparently HHH is going over to RAW now and will defend his title against Orton at WrestleMania with Edge will defend the title against Cena. Whether this is true or not is another question, it's just a rumor right now.
One thing i hated about NWO 09 was that both champions in the Elimination Chambers got eliminated within 3 minutes of being in the chamber itself, just stupid. Btw I HATE Cena but I think he should of been in the chamber for longer as he's the "main man" in WWE.

I agree, the Champs were removed way to early and as far as Cena goes, he's had a huge push beyond what most people have ever had in this business and continues to be pushed today. I feel WWE are relying too much on promoting people like Cena and not focusing on the lower ranks, and by that I don't mean ECW which is a complete joke. I hope WWE do something with this draft to help.
HHH is moving. did you watch Raw. Its not official, but they are building HHH vs. Orton at Wrestlemania. Orton attacked Stephanie on RAW HHH came out. Orton escaped. HHH will most def. be switching.
For what looked to be a fairly run of the mill event, this was an awesome show.
I didn't want to see HHH win, but it makes sense from a storyline perspective. Shane McMahon still swings like a girl but it's always fun to watch him donate his carcass. I don't wanna say "Vintage Rey Mysterio", but it was. And who saw The Ultimate Opportunist winning the other title at the start of the night?
i think the shane o mac vs orton match was pretty good...as far as the last match anyone with two eyes should've known as soon as edge made himself apart of it he was going to win.

HBK won't end the streak, Taker will either retire in 2010 and HBK maybe this hear. HBK has bigger chance of retiring earlier then Taker so dropping the streak to him would be a waste.

Randy Orton coming out of nowhere to win against Shane was lame. I don't like Randy that much.

No way out was ok... In Shane vs Orton match, everybody knew who was going to win but amazing rko anyways, unpredictable.
HBK vs JBL was a good match, all the hbk's matches are great on the ppv.
Elimination chamber was good :D.

You giving it a nine is a bit of a generous rating. The more I think about, the more I feel it was a horrible pay-per-view.
Not able matches were fives star matches. Basically, the two four star matches were both of the Elimination Chamber Matches.
The ECW Championship Match and the All Or Nothing Match were very lacking. Nothing special from either of the match. Finlay should have went over on Swagger. Shawn Michaels going over on JBL was expected.
The No Hold Barred Match sucked.

I was amazed that Knox did rather well in his very first PPV main event match despite him being really nothing more but Snitsky 2.0. The best moments of the PPV, in my opinion, were Cena being eliminated in record time and the sighting of a Botchamania sign during the Finlay / Swaggah match. Great review, TSlay.

Matt vs Jeff at WM would be nice in a TLC match but they gotta treat this rivalry with the respect it deserves cos Matt has all the potential in the world to be a top line heel.. the guy is amazing! & Jeff has more than enough love & respect from the fans for them to care about it.

Yeah cos we got WWE champ, SD!'s HHH restarting a heated feud with Raw's WHCship no1 contender, Orton which is unusual & we got Edge, a SD! superstar who's Raw's WHC.. but Orton can choose who he faces & by looks on his face as Raw closed, he wont wanna face HHH, so that mean right now its Orton vs Edge at WM for the WHC, unless Cena wins it back b4 WM where it be Cena vs Orton cos Im thinking Cena will face Edge on Raw b4 WM for the title, tho I'm hoping Edge beats Cena cos it keeps it unsteady

Yeah, I thought it was odd that they started with the SD Chamber, which was the better of the 2, in my opinion.
The Raw Chamber could've been better, because I knew from the VERY START, without question,w ho was going to win. That ruined it. A good match, to be sure, but the fact that there was NO room to question the finish...just sucked.
Other than that, it was just the same as any other PPV.

I have to admit, when I saw the RAW Elimination chamber I was thinking, "Oh God, WWE have done it again, they have booked another match which should have been great, and they messed up." But when the Edge surprise happened and the action started I was taken back, it was good.
I have one problem though, at Night of Champions SD won both Championships, now, once again, SD have both Championships. That means SD has had both World titles twice in under a year. Personally, that isn't right.

True but apparently HHH is going over to RAW now and will defend his title against Orton at WrestleMania with Edge will defend the title against Cena. Whether this is true or not is another question, it's just a rumor right now.
One thing i hated about NWO 09 was that both champions in the Elimination Chambers got eliminated within 3 minutes of being in the chamber itself, just stupid. Btw I HATE Cena but I think he should of been in the chamber for longer as he's the "main man" in WWE.

I agree, the Champs were removed way to early and as far as Cena goes, he's had a huge push beyond what most people have ever had in this business and continues to be pushed today. I feel WWE are relying too much on promoting people like Cena and not focusing on the lower ranks, and by that I don't mean ECW which is a complete joke. I hope WWE do something with this draft to help.

For what looked to be a fairly run of the mill event, this was an awesome show.
I didn't want to see HHH win, but it makes sense from a storyline perspective. Shane McMahon still swings like a girl but it's always fun to watch him donate his carcass. I don't wanna say "Vintage Rey Mysterio", but it was. And who saw The Ultimate Opportunist winning the other title at the start of the night?
Definitely the best booked WWE PPV in many years.
