@spookyme401 When I saw The Doors 21st Century, my girfriend and I were saying the same thing. Thing is, I don't think Jeff Martin would ever agree to it to begin with. He was never a huge Doors fan. Definitely not enough of one to revisit Jim. Ian had the similar vocal range AND most importantly, he was obviously a HUGE fan.
@spookyme401 Good call Spook, I always thought that would work to. But what you have in Hollywood are balless producers along with Manzarek who woul only give lilly livered A listers such as the dude from Fuel the opportunity to cover the Lizard King.

@HallowedHoly ... tru dat. =) Jeff is the shit, no? I love The Badger... and Messenger still makes me ache for somebody every time I hear it. LOVE the harder stuff, too (so much!) Peace. =)
@HallowedHoly ... Finnish? I thought he was a Canuck!?! LoL. But seriously, artists like Jeff are never finished. =) And I certainly concur, his path has given us who recognize him an awesome and complex trip indeed.
First heard this during a visit to Seattle in the early 90s. When I came back home to Florida I hit every music store in town looking for this album, no one had heard of it.
You most likely heard it played on KISW while you were in Seattle. They were the only ones playing TTP on radio from '93-'96. The closer you were in the U.S. to the Canadian border, the more likely you were to be turned on to the band, courtesy of AOR stations, which I assume are just about all but dead now.
i would hate to be the 1 asshole who dislikes this..poor bastard
