  • I wish I had PBS in Germany! I miss the sound of US orchestra! When I listen to an orchestra from the US, they always sound so fresh, as if they're playing for the first time. Even classical music becomes more interesting because of the interpretation it is given away from its European roots. It's a welcome diversion. Don't get me wrong, there are some wonderful orchestras in Europe (London, Berlin, Wien), which have their individual sound. They are great, but there is no place like home!
