Okay. You can write backwards, you can play the guitar, the piano, you can write songs and you can perform them really well, and now,you do that! What an awesome great incredible person you are. I bet that sandwich was damn tasty.
At first I had actually guessed it to be powdered sugar, like the kind my mom uses in baking. I think I've seen some people put powdered sugar on bread before, though I've never tried it.
That sounds like it would be good. It would become much like a bear's claw pastry with cheese. I like to experiment. I have not had powdered sugar in a long time. I used to like it on many things like French toast.
Sorry in advance for my super long comment haha.... Ok First off thank you Tom for another great video =). And I tried this a couple hours ago and it was delicous! I made 2 of these! (Made a mess but hey what do you expect from a 15 yr old haha.) And you were right about the heavier bread for a food fight ;) i win every time now lol.
One thing I would recommend for kids my age and younger would be to use white bread if your taste buds arnt quiet mature yet =P and lay off the condimants haha 5/5!
Thanks. White bread is fine as long as you have a supply of pudding cups for the foodfight. My three favorite sandwiches are the Rueben, the Club and the Grilled Cheese. I have not tried making the Rueben or Club at home yet, but I think I shall do so.
reminds me of French toast, do u know french toast? It's a favorite of mine.
Take a bowl mix eggs and milk dip the bread ( I like white with this) in it make sure it's coverd put it in the pan and let it get a nice colour. When I cook I like to cook allot aotherwise it's not worth it so I ussually eat about 6. U can put anything on it... jam, cheese, sugar, u name it.
You are making me hungry. I do love French toast. I like anything with the word French in it that is a food. French fries, French dressing, French cut green beans. I think French toast would be better with French vanilla ice cream on it. Thanks.
I'm going to try this out! I would have never guessed your secret ingredient. I love your cooking tutorials! Toasted cheese has been a long time favorite of mine. I loved the humor. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks. Actually some cake icing sounds good... In the Winter months I will be eating so much more. In the Spring I will have to cut back down to four meals a day.
It is a lumberjack size snack. I was able to gulp these down when I was in my thirties. But that was a couple of years ago. I eat more slowly now. This probably has almost as many calories as a small pizza. Thanks Liz.
Nice..will have to try it with your secret ingredient. I usually make them similarly, but instead of pancake mix, I spread a thin layer of butter on both pieces of bread.
That is a good question. The Blasto Sandwich Maker is faster and much more efficient of course, but I know there are many people who won't have their new Blasto until Christmas. Some poor souls are still cooking on old fashioned stoves so I did this tutorial for them while they await their own Blasto. Thanks for a fine question.
That was very considerate of you. Yes, I imagine there will be many fine Blasto products underneath the tree this coming Christmas. I understand Santa is trying to hire extra reindeer this year to help with the Blasto load of goodies, but he is apparently having trouble with the Teamsters.
Sr, but next tie put it in the hot oil ; )
But it looks great ( :

Featureman i made this with butter instead of canola oil and it wasnt so great so i should most likely try it with canola oil then right?
TheSethasaurus 2 years ago
I haven't tried using butter but canola oil does seem to do the job. It should work with any vegetable oil. Good luck with your next attempt. Thanks.

hi Tom, great video.
i think i may have a tip for you - heat up the pan a little bit (get a bit of heat in there first) before you place the bread in there.

Bahaha, nice touch with the dumb kids thing.
This is a great recipe. Nice touch with the pancake flour. And I never thought of relish or mustard!
I hope you decide to make more of these tutorials. They are immortal!

Thank you. The kids probably have better recipes than I do. That's why I have to get them out of the kitchen before they show me up.

LOL you killed me "now we're just gonna add some more" *turns it again* "and some more..." *turns it again* "and some more..." etc
Great sandwich though!
I gotta start making cooking tutorials too! I've been pondering it for a while but I think it's time.

you should have put some bacon in there with the cheese
or ham maybe?
:D
xs1ner 2 years ago
Re: using ham
Now that you mention it, there does tend to be plently of ham in most Featureman videos. Funny he didn't use any in the sandwich.
cyberwanderer 2 years ago
Either one sounds very good. Perhaps grilled cheese with tomato and bacon. Thanks.

Why didn't you use your Blasto Sandwich Maker?
Product recall?
