@Mystep---I can tell you that Arvo Part's understanding extends far beyond the Materialist belief system, that he has long realized that we are more than bodies and are of immeasurably greater significance than "sparks on a pebble."

Great piece by Arvo Part but I don't like this version. The blatting horn in the treble just gets annoying. The version I have has the upper register done in the woodwind voice of the organ. Much smoother and mellow than the piercing horn.

@guibox3 I agree entirely. Actually all voices should be played all on the same manual. As the title suggests the piece is constructed on the concept of a the strict relationship between two voices, neither of the two should emerge more than the other.

IMHO, the best performer for Pari Intervallo - Christoph Maria Moosmann.

Christopher Bowers-Broadbent makes timing mistakes.

Beautiful piece. Anyhow I prefer the version for harp, performed by Floraleda Sacchi and released on DECCA Universal 476 3172. And the disc also includes wonderful music by Nyman, Glass, Machajdik, Cage, and others.
