Deflation in the short term but inflation in the long term. Eventually the Fed will have to print massive, massive amounts of money to dig out of debt and fund wars and government liabilities. We are talking trillions of new spending/stimulus/bailouts etc. Look, there is NOT enough tax revenue coming in due to sky high unemployment! The government knows it and will need to get real creative to try and make up the difference.
No matter how much the FED prints, there just isn't going to be enough to cover what's been lost in the market. Inflation??? I won't worry about now at all, 'cause we'd be lucky if we could ever survive the coming deflationary which is going to be the deepest deflation in human history EVER.
I'm going to say Defaltion...the cost of goods will fall, no one has jobs to purchase and over stocked invintory, the product has to move....so I say Defaltion.
great call on bonds
