Thanks, yes, that was the about the date i thought. Bit of a 'jumbled shoot' was the way I saw it, too many people in a small space, lots of marks we didnt know what to do with... but the usual John Holder madness.
pehaps I will see you at Stanford Hall on the 30th
it wasn't realy a shoot for the heavy bows, and as you said a Bit of a 'jumbled shoot', but i had a few shots at the heads and a chance to stretch my bow at the end shooting across the lake.
i'm planning on going to stanford ,its one of my favorite roves.
i saw someone also had the tradional dog - - some ind of bull and terrier

Any idea what weight the guy in the red shirt at 2:55 was shooting? 60#? 30#?
I'm looking into buying my first bow, but if that was anywhere near 60 I'm definitely bumping it up... Technique over power, I know...but...

It is about 55lb, has an osage core, shoots beautifully.

i'm guessing about 50# but you may find more information from the vids on lewran site below your post.
i hope this helps .
good luck and happy shooting :-)

i dont think a beginner should exceed anything more than 50# you'll have trouble enough pulling that back and shooting well

I think they should have done a full team shot at the end. That would have made it epic. ;D
