unfortunately the words Allah and Islam have come to be associated with death, destruction, intolerance and other such ugly things. So no matter how beautiful a thing muslims do nowadays, it becomes very hard to appreciate it. how sad.
Islamic intolerance is destroying once peaceful Kashmiri folks.
I was born in Kashmir and left the Valley on Jan 20th 1990. On the preceding night, the loud speakers from Mosques blared night long hate propaganda against Minority Hindus, Christians and Sikhs. The clerics making announcements wanted minority men to leave Kashmir, leaving behind their women.
Kashmir will be next Afghanistan, devolve into a lawless tribal region where women will have their noses cut as per Holy Sharia!
Hey Victim....despite the propaganda as you claim the sikhs or the Christians did not leave...am I missing something! Maybe it the prejudice that you carried even then, forced you to leave and unfortunately causing panic among so many innocent pandits who felt compelled to leave.
What you call as 'hate propaganda' was in fact 'Allaho Akbar ' and you have translated that into propaganda. We must all act responsibile and not give vent to our prejudice publicly.
@AVictimofTerror Having said that ,every Kashmiri has a right to live in that land regardless of the faith he or she practices. But at the same time it does not give any right to India to hold the Kashmiri population as hostage.
As for your comment on the shiariat it is not really like the practice of 'sati' .....it is more of an Afghan culture! I can understand your ignorance but am appaled by the arrogance with which you are demonstrating it publicly.
