    Didn't have sesame oil neither found it at the supermarket (I live in a little town) so I did it with soy oil and I don't know if there's any difference :D

  • I don't think any two kung pao chicken recipes are the same. Then again, I think most chinese recipes vary from person to person and region to region. My favorite kung pao has a thicker sauce, no bell peppers and has celery and/or water chestnuts.

  • This guy is awesome! he cook so fast, while when I make my kung pao chicken it takes me like an hour and a half. He does use lots of shotcuts and seems like at the ende the results are the same... I will try his techniques, thank you so much for your videos Kai.

  • hey, kai, I made this today, and it was amazing, your recipes have all worked for me. I didnt deep fry the chicken thou, i just cooked it with some sesame oil. it came out healthier and just as delicious, I put alot of chilies, and it didnt really over power the food, i think the sugar that is involved in the sauce nutralized it. Your the man, Kai!

  • a MUCH healthier opinon is to cook the chicken with the wok but just stirring it around, takes a little longer but better for you health. I love kung-pao chicken. sooooo good!
