Agreed, I meant bullshit as in useless. After all the truth is that google entered into the industry too late to make people change web browsers and plua google has plead guilty to gaining info from people using their web browsers and collecting more than needed info when maing google maps. After that situation, why would I want google being my OS?? Simple as that, I do not want them as my OS. Too much problems will arise.

@bp56789 Dude this is Google.....how can they not make their videos properly....like Google just has to make it more realistic, just like this Chrome OS. No one in their right mind would trade an actual OS like iOS or Windows for a OS that is just a browser. How are you going to watch videos, type up documents, install CD software, or even online software using bittorent Also, how am i suppose to play Quake Live, a game that does not work with chrome...there are lots of incompatibilities.

@1Abdilatif1 Oh I see, you mean bullshit as in useless. It not a replacement for the computer, more like a replacement for netbooks. The majority of people use their time on computers for the internet, and you can type documents (google docs). I however, won't be getting one, for the same reasons as you are not.

It's a niche market, and although I don't want one, I can see the practicalities of it.

I love Chrome and I look forward to touch Chrome OS. The thing is Google is talking about doing everything you already do with your computer in a web environment. I spend a lot of time in games. Gaming, now a days, is indeed a Windows specialty, I wont deny, but that's a shame. I personally support Urban Terror, D2-XL, Flight Gear, and many other great Linux projects. If graph acceleration will work fine in a browser (or a browser based OS), why not write games for it? That's the final combo! :D

@trufiend138 that would be because it isn't being *released* yet. the cr-48 is strictly dev hardware. i doubt you will ever see it being sold. when actual commercial devices show up i guarantee you will see both tablets AND "4G".

@bernardodesousa There's no reason it couldn't be done. The distinction between web apps and non-web apps is essentially arbitrary. When you install a program, you download some code and run it. When you run a web app, you download some code and run it. There's NO fundamental difference. We're just used to limited browsers that don't expose the full potential of the hardware underneath.
