It looks like an Akita...

But it has thicker fur and some markings so I'm hesitating.

Might be a mix of that with some Malamut. Or just not a pure-bred Akita/Inu.

I think your dog is in the Japanese inu family (shiba inu, akita inu, etc.) SO CUTE, but definitely not a husky. Our shiba inu ignores all 5 cats in the house just like this, even the one who lashes out at her.. it's so funny.
