  • Kraftwerk was a band ahead of their time, both musically and from a social standpoint. Listen to "Computer World." Released in 1981, it predicted what todays world would be like: internet dating, banking, on and on...

  • This is really good. Thanks for putting it up. What did you sequence it in?

  • @ JonnyTommyGuns- it should be the first video that shows up in the list when you type Kraftwerk- radioactivity

  • why remake a song even more techno than it is?????

  • @electronicmedium

    cause it's badass

    but really-

    -cause it's krautrock

and I wish I was shopping in my car

  • save british steel...save british industry...come on you germans - we need you to save our precious industrial heritage....don't let thatcher/bliar/brown/cameron destroy our great traditions and our passionate scientiffic workforce.

  • @Naggarmon ..not that keen on any kraftwerk remixes i ve heared...its like painting extra bits on a masterpiece....im sure theirs folk who will disagree

  • @eyewoodsay Copying is the bigest compliment, & KW have recieved lots of complinents.

  • @trespire eye copied the mona lisa in crayon......it looked terrible....dont really get your point...............william orbit does a kraftwerk mix and it s terrible in fact i dont even believe its william orbit mix........copying isnt really being creative..........ive not heared one good remix of a kraftwerk tune.....its impossible ......but hey what do eye know????????????????????

  • nice

  • Wow, have they aged! Haven't seen them since the 80's. Lifelong fan, though. They invented a new musical genre in the 70's while everyone else was still playing around with guitars. Prior to Kraftwerk, there had been only Walter/Wendy Carlos, and he/she was only using them to recreate classical music.

  • Don't forget Tomita :)

  • Gershon Kingsley wrote a tune in 1969, I think you might know it, called "Popcorn". Timota did electronic covers of classical music.

  • @PiperTheGreatX Tomita is a living legend

    D...:)

  • @phlogiston08 These guys don't age like the rest of the humans, they are before their time, they are timeless.

  • i like the live version they play..if anybody knows how to get the live version of radioactivity

  • um, minimum-maximum DVD?

  • You can find it on The Mix album in studio version and also on Minimum Maximum

  • @JonnyTommyGuns Yeah minimum maximum DVD or CD.Or you could go to the Kraftwerk website go on videos and click on radioactivity.

  • @JonnyTommyGuns Yeah minimum maximum DVD or CD.Or you could go to the Kraftwerk website go on videos and click on radioactivity

  • @JonnyTommyGuns yes i know

  • :D:D

  • Its not like Kraftwerk needs and help but the song is nice but the original is better

  • yo me gusto mucho

  • Fuck William Orbit, I don't see why he was needed on this track (as if Kraftwerk needed help), his role here is superfluous.

  • Fuck wgaule, William Orbit's soundscapes are far more inventive. Your comment here is superfluous.

  • And fuck you, (see, it's easy to say, doesn't mean anything) what do I care about what you think, you haven't uploaded one video, I hate people who make these stupid comments and yet don't even contribute.

  • ...Well you obviously care enough to reply.

You know, if you can't take an opinion that (in case you hadn't noticed) was an exact echo to highlight your own worthless comment in the first place, you're perhaps the one who shouldn't contribute.

    ....Shit-for-brains.

  • Yeah I noticed your stupid parody of my comment, it wasn't that clever. You're a sad individual, my comments on this post are none of your business. You need to get a life, and get over it ...

  • Something about this version makes me think of mixing the song with "Enjoy the Silence" by Depeche Mode.

  • Very nice. been a Kraftwerk fan longer then some of these posters have been alive!

  • Kraftwerk fans never die, lol.

I am waiting for their remastered "Catalogue" in Super Audio CD (a format audiophiles high in high regard), but they are not exactly working fast

  • hehe awesome :D

  • @earlgrey00 yer me to, nigh on day 1, on we go.

  • (slightly off topic:) does anyone know of a free program that can change your voice to sound like they did when they did the "stop radio activity" line??? i wish to use something like that over xfire... it would be sick! :^]

  • Screw that, you want the "Sellafield 2" voice, complete with the mechanical breathing noises!

  • whatever sounds cool.

  • ...or a vocoder :)

  • I think it's a TTS (Text-to-Speech) Engine mixed with a special effect (for example that breathing-noise effect)

  • No, its a Vocoder.

  • agreed ;D

  • ...XD the youngers! :D speech text,

  • I hear often "radio and DVD" while listening to this song in whatever version. :]

  • haha :P

  • LOL

  • best

  • good stuff

  • Aye

  • Danke schoen. Now is the time on sprockets when we dance!

  • err...what?

  • ooh riight Dieter xD

  • Bad Remix !!!

  • too bad you didn't like it.

  • real classic track

  • Indeed.
