My 72YO Dad (who has plenty of money thanks to a generous final-salary pension) went to buy a new car the other day.
Obviously a small runaround would have been ideal, but the slick bastard sales guy deliberately confused him into getting a stupid £100k high-performance turbo sports model. Almost immediately he rammed it into a wall (with Mum inside) at 90mph, and now has been told he will never walk again.
I BLAME YOU FOR THIS CLARKSON (& the BBC)- I am now taking legal advice.

@SquirrelFromGradLife Sxephil is preachy, hypocritical & whiny, but I'm subscribed, its entertaining mostly. Tho half his videos serve as a reminder to man the f-ck up, ie. he crashed his car & a man came out from his house and began berating him for property damage (there was none). Phil calmly, logically explained he'd buy him 8 mail boxes; any reasonable man who was being berated after nearly dying in a car accident would have told him to f-ck off. Phil then complained for half a blog post.
