Don't think he or anyone claims he's the greatest player or stuff like that - he is a very good player (improving with age - have a look at some Racing Metro matches) with lots of strengths (quite popular down in the Southern hemisphere I believe!) Also myself & several (!!!!) other people appreciate him for all his other attributes...

@Aussiephil99 Of course there's not. Rugby isn't our first, second, third, fourth, fifth or sixth sport. I would be surprised if one out of 50 elite high school athletes dedicated his time to rugby. I wish this was different, but such is life. That being said, if the US dedicated it's greatest athletes to rugby, we would beat every country in the world in 5 years. Look what we do at the Olympics, and we don't even care about the Olympics.

@butbutt1 I'm not saying we don't have a team. I'm saying our rugby team is not populated with our best athletes. Most of our best athletes devote their time to sports that make money.  In America, the rugby players are either imports or rejects from college football.

@thomtraubert12 I think that's essentially true. Our best athletes are more concerned with their professional careers to risk it all for a gold medal in some international event. With the exception of the Olympics, international competitions do not get noticed in the US. Just look at Yao Ming - retiring after just nine years because he injured himself when he went back to back playing pro in the US and then for China for the Olympics.

I doubt he could be a lineman since the minimum weight requirement for a lineman is 300 lbs, but he'd make a great fullback and/or tight end. I'm not very familiar with his running style, so I can't say he'd be a great RB.
