that is decent up to 3rd gear then yeah not so much. 0-60 looked like 9 second and it took 25 or so to hit 100.

@silverado3271 Oh the hell Obama Motors do! Btw, my Toyota has a fully boxed end to end stiff offroad chassis, cause its an 1988 4Runner. GM has had the most recalls in the last decade than any other make, I see more GMs on the side of the road, and there are more traded in GMs at the Toyota dealer than Toyotas. Toyota has the best offroad vehicles, est cars, suvs, crossovers, ect. And not to mention, this Silverado was made in Canada, As the Tundra is made in Texas. Toyota > Obama Motors.

I like GMs of old (dont get me wrong, theres nothing like a good ol Chevelle ss 454!) But, I just happen to like Toyota too. Im bound to like GM again once they become an independent company. @34celticpride And Oh yeah, I wouldnt dare go to Toyota if I needed an HD, thats where GM comes in, they do make the best HDs. But, I am more a fan of Toyota because they stuck to haveing capable offroad SUVs. After the blazer went away, GM didnt really have one like the 4runner. But, Id buy either (after GM is independent again!)

@MSTRCINISTER you can get a programmer/tuner/chip for just about anything 1996+. i just ordered one for my 08 V6f150. you can get canned tunes or have someone write custom tunes. canned means its what comes with the tuner. i ordered from VMP tuning to get custom tunes. look up superchips or sct or edge or gryphon(modded edge) or bullydog(usually diesels).

I tuned my '08 Silverado using a SuperChips tuner which not only removed the limiter but also lets me use Super Unleaded which gives it more HP. Not sure what my top speed is because I always seem to run out of road and/or there are too many cops around. :-)

any tuner, but i would recommend a custom tune(way better) by either blackbear, hp tuners, wheatley any of those are good.

Whenever you get it tuned make sure they take the RPM governor out of overdrive also. If they just change the speed governor it will still cut off just under 100 like factory.
