I only spent three years in Darwin, but everytime I think of the place I get home sick. I miss it bad. The weather, the people, the lifestyle. I did a lot of diving up there, and even though the vis isn't great, I still miss it.
Ahh the memories... diving the USAT Meigs, USS Peary and the Mauna Loa in 2 1/2 to 5 metre vis! Was that Suzi Lack on board the boat? Used to dive with Sash Muller and Coral Divers in the early 90's. God I miss Darwin!!
I did a couple of dives with Corals too back in the 90s. All I can say is I wish Darwin Harbour had the vis of Melville Bay, the water over here is sensational- but not so much to see(wreck wise)
I still dive with Coral Divers, they are running as a hobby club now, not so much a business. Sash & Suzie taught my son, 'Polar' & I to dive.
