Ever consider editing? You can show the whole process (without endless minutes of glass slowly melting) in a short amount of time and without leaving anything out. More likely that someone will watch the whole thing.Nice guitar work!

I had almost 2 hours of footage and youtube only lets us have 10 min at a time. I figured that people learning to blow glass might like to see him do the full wigwag process for the stem. I am gonna get some new footage but 95% of what you just saw was not in my original video.

I just got your joke LOL.Niiiicccccceeeee. But he plays Heavy metal louder than most people can listen to while doing this :) When he is vaporizing sliver or gold the temp becomes hotter then the surface of the sun. You can lose a finger or hand easy from the torch. Glass is deadly enough on its own :)

yes the glass looks quite warm enough... does he have to wear more protective type gear for the silver/gold vaporizing? steady hands required!

If you inhale the gold or silver in vapor form it can kill you.. He blows out when "fuming". There is a huge fan and shroud sucking up air from the bench. He is all pro like all. Full size oxygen tank as tall as me propane tanks its crazy. I love watching him work and filming him working, but it can be a little freaky sometimes.
