  • nice but children should be chosen carefully their repertoire because at certain ages you play only the notes on the score and not the music and the feelings of a great masterpiece such as this one. Good job Maria!

  • @zacretz totally disagree i think children can play master pieces with feeling...actually they give music a purity that adults cannot because the latter is sullied whereas children are pure . How can you say that children lack feeling for goodness sake mendelssohn himself was child when he composed things...sorry rant over

  • Lindo, Lindo,Lindo!!!

  • Bravo!

  • Ce frumos canta, bravo Maria!

  • Keep up the good work! A promising violinist

  • She'splaying so god but the orchestra WFT!! 1:40 no time no metronom nothing! And if somebody play with any famous instrument...

  • Bravo Maria ! un mare artist asteapta se se faca cunoscut intregii lumi !

  • That may be true, but why don't you try playing in front of a live audience. She was probably just really nervous. I could tell because in the high, long notes (particularly the harmonic A) her hands were shaking.

  • my job is to play in front of a live audience.

and i don't have to explain my opinions

  • and there is always the first time or two that the person appears before an audience--and some people are more comfortable than others. A person who performs knows this and has discernment. Everyone has to learn and develop their own coping skills regarding performance-each individual will learn this at their own speed. She did a fine job and get more and more comfortable in front of an audience, as she does her performances will get even better.

  • this piece is a lot about emotion, which she puts into it a lot. From your comment it's clear that you aren't sensitive enough to feel the true emotion that she emits through her violin. She's good!

  • hahaha, fantastic, buy her CD then and leave me alone

  • and you don't know a shit about how sensitive I am

  • Well, in any case you're overly sensitive for criticism. Work on it...And try not to seek attention when you want to be left alone...;)

  • she is playing on a Gesu? nice.

  • This girl has future!!!

  • well played

  • the orchestra is actually not that great sounding. there were just a few places that the winds were not in tune with each other

  • Which orchestra is that?? And how did you get such an amazing opportunity??

  • Hola Maria, enhorabuena! dónde has estudiado?

  • nice

  • a wonderful piece played by a wonderful Violinist! Bravo!

  • wow!

  • I hear the start and I know it is akin to Menuhin...

  • could show a bit more emotion, but well played!

  • What a lucky young lady you are to play on a fine Cremonese instrument - but well deserved, of course!

  • Hey Maria...

Excuse me for having spoken that whole nonsense. You play very well, you have a lot of talent. You have a great future for the front. Success!

    My sincere apologies...

    Felipe Harder

  • I thought for a minute that was the strad ex-Grumiaux, but now I realise this the Graurnerius one. I think its enough praise that her playing kind of reminds me of him. Franco-Belgian school all the way.
