Because WoW sucks. The only reason it's so successful is because it's the only MMO that had ad campaigns as large as it. If a good MMO was advertised as hugely as WoW, trust me, It would be way more successful. As much as I don't like Maple Story, It's one of the most successful MMOs period. It's more successful than WoW, and it's free. If you look at DFO, and Ragnarok (which were advertised heavily in korea) You'll see what I mean. those are 2 extremely big MMOs in Korea.
