To capture the true essence of Tupac...I feel like Tupac was rare yet ordinary, very infectious and charasmatic and so much more, so my point is just that it gonna take a hellaof a person to play him, and you gotta comer with something more that voice or looks.

@madbog22 Also I do not know if everyone knows this but Antoin Fuqua, the directer is now the former director due to the fact that he could NOT find the PERFECT Tupac for the role, he handed it over to john singleton. I feel Antoine, either we find the perfect 2PAC or we just don't do the movie, I rather that as well. But Brandon does indeed have the voice a lil bit, with practice he may be able to fulfill his role, but not good enough for me. Tupac was imperfect making him perfect.

I'd pick him for sure as a finalist. I've looked a few of these, some guys were okay, others sucked balls, some were even pretty good at the monologues, but sucked at the rap parts. Brandon is the only one I saw so far who's equally real at both the monologue and the rap part. With more work (to capture the power and essence of 2pac) he could do well. The Director will also be an important part of this process. So will the writer. (I have no faith in screenwriting in hollywood though.)
