@AsianBoy9thst Penn was hosting some game show, I forgot which one, and it was hilarious watching the people come on because he is huge compared to almost everyone. I think he is 6'5" if I remember right.
This show traumatized me as a kid. I'd never seen a magic trick that just ends with "killing" someone and not bringing them back. Instead they just cut to commercial. Of course now I think it's awesome and want to see more tricks like it.
@Spoolzz The Stooges were American. Larry Fine was from Philadelphia (coincidentally, so was Teller) and the Howards (Curly, Moe and Shemp) were from New York.
It's part of the act, he realised in college that if he just shut up and did his tricks people would pay attention and watch what he was doing and he carried it over into Penn and Teller.
He was actually a latin professer before meeting Penn so he can definitely talk, do a search and you will find some vids of him
@rocintrucker83021227 He already was not talking when they joined partnership, if teller did not talk when he showed his class the tricks they would not pester him in how they were done
I just hoped there'd be appreciation for the more verbose and original of the two teams: Stooges ripped A LOT of the Marxes' schtick off but only did it with substandard comedy. When I think of Stooges' fans I think of the proverbial manchild of modern internet humor giggling over someone getting hit with a hammer but not being able to understand Duck Soup.
Why a duck indeed. At least recognize the hack-nature of their fame and how it's a commentary on the idiocy of current American comedy.
I mean at least the Marxes shoe horned some not at all preachy social and political commentary into their movies at a time when such a thing was forbidden. They didn't pander to the dumb, they mocked them. Instead of becoming the dumb, they terrorized them.
I've seen GWAR in concert a few times and that was pretty much right off the stage! Curley even jumped around like they do when someone dies during the show and the blood sprays, haha!
Wow you're right I thought it was just Teller's voice. Billy West also does Fry, Zoidberg and Farnsworth on Futarama. That guy has a filmography a mile long actually.
I luv STIMPY XD

@hlorzano You know what's crazy. Stimpy's voice was based on Larry Fine's. Stimpy sounds JUST like Larry.

I should have also mentioned that the Stimpy voice was based on Larry Fine of The Three Stooges, which is why they use it here for Teller.
