Bit of an odd version, and is the picture stretched? Sounds like the same well groovy band that played on the original recording though, they give it a real dirt-groove element which contrasts brilliantly with the voice, It's sexy, it's fun, it's got soul. I think it's probably one of the greatest singles ever made.

Oh how I loved Lindsey De Paul, what a beautiful song and how it reminds me of my teenage years my teenage fancies and all that. It also reminds me of that lad who made me so jealous when he wrote to Jim'll fix it and got to dance with Lindsey, oh how I wanted to do that. Its all rather good. They keep switching between two performances of the song which gives the unusual effect. The cartoons were drawn by Lynsey herself since she trained as an artist.
