  • The harp is tuned diatonically, as if each string was one of the white notes on a piano keyboard. There are probably very few strings sounding at any one time, and they could be sounding overtones of the string's fundamental note, which means you can get a chord sounding from a single string. So it is all very random depending on the wind.
