Its a disgrace how the Bush admin handled or didn't handle rather the devastation Katrina left on NOLA! Maybe if there was oil there they would of put more effort into it.
Nice try blaming Bush but the fact is they had a hundred years to shore up those levies. They knew damn well they were in danger of "the big one", and they got it. I'm no fan of our federal government but a town, a county, a city, a state, etc. is responsible for it's own disaster scenerios. New Orleans is a perfect example of bad city government. They relied for years on their tourism trade but they neglected industry. Industry is where the real jobs are, not restaurants and blues bars.
Isn't it cheaper to outsource industry to foreign countries? Didn't the floods get rid of a bunch of undesirables & make low income land beach front property? Isn't tiny little local government all the way to Big Chief a big triangle of inter-connected shit? Maybe if LA had two of the tallest buildings in America Bush would of imploded the towers there. You think Bush should of flew planes into a Mardi Gras parade? Don't you like boobs?
