1080p and all that on youtube has nothing to do with quality of actual video playing on youtube....it just means the size of the video during playback is bigger. if your video was recorded in not so good quality, it will remain that way...youtube wont enhance it. want quality videos? u need high def quality cam to cature it in the first place. (all 720/1080p options on youtube is just about how big the actual screen gets while watching, THATS ALL.

One problem: as far as I can see, all the 1080p video cameras are really, really expensive. I don't think the average youtuber will be able to take advantage of this for a few years.

1080p thats cool, not sure if I'll switch to that instead of 720p, I'll leave it up to my subscribers, all I have to do is click a different button to export in 1080p. But for the ppl watching the loading time for those videos may be too annoying for those with slower connection speeds.
