Even the prosecutor in an adjacent parish said this prosecutor was an idiot to try to do what he did. He brought all of this upon himself, and those who trivialize the situation are the ones that bad government is hiding behind.
Yes. Almost killing a teenage girl is nothing. Boys being boys. Being known as thugs who threaten and rob in their own neighborhood is nothing.
BTW, Reed Walters is YET to be reprimanded in ANY way for what he did. I thought he did something real bad. With all of the attention on him, why can't they find something illegal in his actions? Why did Bell plead guilty? Why are there numerous wintesses of all colors saying some of the Jena 6 are bad thugs?
As a white man that went to Jena just to see, this demonstration was less about the Jena 6 than it was about the phenomenon of racial justice that eventually puts 3 of 10 black men in prison. Anyone who has known cops and crime knows this discrepancy in our justice system. But if the people of Jena don't like black people, they sure found a way to get a lot of them to come to town, he,he!
I would like to send out a challenge to those who support the young boys in Jena. Let's ignore the racists comments that are soon to come. They have already ruined several great videos with their comments. If we ignore them, people will be able to focus on the video instead of the comments. In fact, it would be great if the video poster would approve or disable comments for the rally.
The big injustice is that they were actually going to be charged with attempted murder. With excessive bails.Yes charges have been reduced etc. But the bonds were not. These boys should be punished for beating the white boy--clearly. But they should be tried as if their races were reversed. They should have been tried according to their age and past record--not their race. The injustice is the excessive charges against them. I support "Free Jena 6 of excessive charges."
Dont you mean "free jena 6 of excessive bails"? Because as you said, the charges have already been reduced. Now that I think about it, arent the boys out on bail already? Their past records are significant, from what I've read.
amen if this was 6 white guys beating up a black guy they would be called racists and that fag jesse jackson would be on the news making some more money for no reason...but anyways this is crazy for these people to stand up for 6 young men nearly beating a guy to death this is stupid and a major injustice...im a black man by the way just so you dont go calling me a racist :)

The "records" were not much either.
