Delhi Int. airport is increasing in size and capacity, it has modernised much and has many flights land and depart every 2 minutes. well done to Delhi airport.

This is a great achievement- a large, integrated and tasteful terminal with Indian artistic imagery. However- it should have been done years ago-like 1979 when Singapore built Changi. One needs to differentiate 'private sector' India which includes Infosys, Tata and the terminal with the shoddy public sector with its rampant corruption, poor service and social inequality. This airport will bring India into the 20 th century..better late than never.

Did i say I didn't like India? Read my comments carefully- I will repeat slowly as you are clearly struggling to understand . This airport is great but should have been built years ago. You might want to consider' big is not always best' .The worst airports in the world is Heathrow- i abhor it. Oh ...and I can watch what the hell i want...its a free world.

oh sorry, my mistake! now i get what you were trying to say and yeah your right but remember india looks at bombay or banglore first then delhi, even tho it's the capital!

like bombay a city have the size of manhaton has 2 airports and 1 more being buit and one being updated and made larger! finnaly the government is increasing spend in the capital not just the highest FDI incomes!

@sankes i agree with you..I'm proud to be an Indian, You should agree the fact that London Heathrow Airport is not the worse, because it has international standards long before itself...it is maintaining such a strict and complicated rule as they are carrying more than 1200 flights a day that too in between 5 am and 11 pm...they are not operating whole day due to climate problems....LHR is the best considering its business...

I have no doubt that LHR is busy, big and safe but I still abhor it. It is too big and inefficient. It can take 1 hour to retrieve one's bags. It is very slow moving from one terminal to another. After landing it takes 25 minutes to taxi to get to the stand, Before landing the plane just circles and circles.

@sankes might be your experience...for me it took only 10 to 15 mins...depends on how busy it is....they are forced to follow a complex heathrow gap...hats off to them as they are still maintaining it...
