The Cure is -not- emo. They are a classic goth rock band. That is not opinion. That is the -name- of the genre. There -was no emo- in 1979 through 1983 when the Cure was releasing their best albums. Several emo bands have made remakes of newer, overlistened Cure songs, all of which were crap, the originals average, but not emo. I'm all for hating on emo kids, but if I had a band it would be a real one and not just joke songs about teenage social classes
