I don't think you can this an automatic DOG WASH. When my dog gets a bath........it also gets shampooed............this seems a lot more like a rinse and a blow dry.........thinking it might just make the dog smell more.
I worry about inhaling water, or certain pets that may panic and hurt themselves by twisting a foot or hitting themselves on the walls, but calm pets seem to benefit.
this is just cruel and lazy, if you have a dog you wash it yourself, you don't just put it in a machine like a dirty plate, ive had big dogs in the past that i couldn't fit in the bath, so when they got dirty i just get the paddling pool out and washed them in that.
But knowing in japan there probably washing them quickly so they can get the dogs on the market stall hehe
How inhumane, dogs don't know the machine is harmless but you can only imagine how terrifying it is to be thrown in there. I say, give the dog a good old fashioned hand wash-a good owner knows it builds a bond, and massaging the soap in I imagine feels better to a dog than this..
Actually, sir, this is a safer, easier, most stress relieving solution for the owner and pet. It is more quick and efficient and leaves far less injuries by traditional hand bathing.
Harmed or not, does that look like fun to you? That's a LAZY owner!! I know I wouldn't enjoy that and I know my friend (my dog) would not enjoy it at all!! It's cruel.
@UofMgoblue2012 MATE, don't get rude behind your laptop. firstly even if dogs do resist baths why terrify them by LOCKING them in an enclosed space and spraying water on them? secondly, dogs love bathtime, so your point is lacking in any sense whatsoever. maybe you should take a bath in the washing machine and see if you can find some compassion for a voiceless animal flung into a box. also remember that the dog has no idea the water will stop. don't bother replying, this isn't banter.
@UofMgoblue2012 ahaaa you're so bloody petty. the point isn't about whether or not the dog was harmed, and does it really matter whether it's a laptop or desktop we're talking about? once again, you've missed the points completely. such a shame...i almost feel obligated to explain them both to you, but i really think it's healthier if you can do it yourself. come on, think hard(!)
@katiexxjshdjskhfxxx You're mistaken in thinking I am missing the point; I am simply being a smartass. You believe the dog is terrified and undergoing immense mental stress. You think it's so horrible that the dog is scared for about 30 seconds then coming out of the washer nice and clean. I tip my hat to such innovation; creating a more simple, efficent way of giving the dog a bath. You're probably among the same loonies who believe gator wrestling is cruel to the gators.
@katiexxjshdjskhfxxx To me the dog looks fine after the first ten seconds; not to mention the dog will eventually be conditioned to realize that closed space is going to bring him no harm. Pavlov anyone?
For those who say this is wrong, it is the same as stepping into a shower for a human. It doesn't use a whole lot of water to wash the animals during each rinse cycle, and the temperatures are preset so they won't be hot to the animals. Washing a dog by hand is just as traumatic as this thing, and in time animals get used to it. There are places in this world that clean animals a lot worse than this.
only 3 questions: 1. does the soap hurt the eyes? 2. didn't the chinese make up a torture method just like this? 3. is it possible to make the room bigger?
ugh,, 4 I guess. If the animal is obviously terrified is there a safety procaution that says they have to let it out?
pets arent inanimate objects. if someone is too fuckin lazy to wash their dog, then they shouldnt have one. if one is to care for another living thing, its rights as a living being must be respected. many people sadly treat their pets like their toys, like some sort of material object.
My German Shepherd is HUGE, and clogs my drain every time I try to give him a bath. He actually doesn't mind getting washed, he gets in the bathtub himself and just stands there. I'd much rather put him in this thing and sit there while it does it for me for 20 bucks. Not to mention it takes about 40 towels to get him dry, this would be much easier on both of us.
@nameofthepen they didn't film the shampooing but it does happen in the machine. This place in particular boasts that the shampoo doesn't irritate the eyes of your dog.
In the full video the woman actually said that she's tried it herself ... lol. It was on Yahoo's homepage. This video leaves out some information and doesn't mention how the water is actually cleaned out so it doesn't hurt the dog's eyes. I'm in no-way in support of this, just trying to add something in of what this video lacks.
It doesn't wash them, it just makes them wet and upset.

Washing a dog by Han is NOT the same! It's a lazy owner. I've seen dogs excited for a Beth. I highly doubt they get excited for that at all!

This machine should be banned. The animal is in obvious distress and all because someone cannot be arsed to do the job themselves. Appalling!
